And those people are saying things like “Cracker Barrel has decades of brand loyalty!” ignoring the fact that sales had been down for years. I’d be curious to know how many times they’ve actually eaten at one in the past 5 years.

Also, Beck in particular said this:

the sign and the decor was not why it was declining, they were the reason they were popular to start with so yes, it was change for sake of change.

Food quality and price is where the changes needed to be and the proof is in the pudding with their stock plummeting after the changes were announced
