I believe so. In early 2004 the CEO spent 700 million renovating the locations. You can choose to re-search this to make sure it's accurate, but I think they also started placing pride symbols and or flags on the outside of restaurants. The company's website also added a page dedicated to pride, among other things. So to answer your question, yeah they were going downhill/losing customer base been before the changes earlier this year.

Yeah that's what I'm suggesting. I failed to mention that the pride symbols and flags on the outside of restaurants and dedicating a page on the companies website to pride happened previous to 2024. So yeah, that's part of the reason they were going downhill b-4 the fiascoes of 2025.

A lot of that came after the recent backlash which started around August though.  It was hovering between $65-70 for most of July and had actually started trending upwards after continuing a similar decline as it had been for about her first year.

She would, but you were trying to say that supporting pride was causing a continued share price decline even prior to that, when in fact the share price was trending up in both the second half of 2024 and second quarter of 2025. On around 8/1/25 just before the backlash started, their price was up about +60% vs the prior year.
