josh wiley 62 Posted Thursday at 10:08 PM Have fields as my backup, but just wanted to get an idea of what most people think happens in this situation. Does fields benefit more from going against these guys last year or vice versa or does it make itself a wash?

JagFan 184 Posted Friday at 01:22 AM I’m playing him over Nix. I get it’s not a great matchup on paper, but this is a revenge game for him. He’s the best running QB in the league, and back with his college go to WR.
weepaws 3,240 Posted Friday at 03:39 AM I guess Rodgers is in the same boat Vs the Jets, this game could be the highest scoring game ever.

I just wish one of these teams would give him the weapons he needs to win and prove once and for all he IS better than Brett. It’s just so sad, and he’s been so mistreated. I hope he’s able to hold back the tears in the post game interview to tell us all how it’s not his fault.

And when he doesn’t it’ll be Green Bay’s way of saying “see it wasn’t the talent around you…it WAS you”. Rodgers problem is his ego, and always has been. You saw it on draft night in 2005 when he was sulking in the green room waiting…. He so badly wants to be “something”. He isn’t the best QB of his generation, he isn’t the best QB his franchise has ever had, and now he’s desperately trying to end his career the way Favre, Warner, Brady, and Manning did..as a winner for another team. But he just isn’t that either. Dude is a head case that was a good NFL QB at one time. He’s never going to hear anyone say “he was the best….whatever”, and it’s killing him. Bye bye ! SaintsInDome2006 447 Posted Saturday at 01:30 PM It’s really not reliable to get inside players’ head, their motivation or the like. Who knows. But if Fields knows PIT, PIT & really Tomlin know Fields. Tomlin will completely gameplan for Fields.

josh wiley 62 Posted Saturday at 10:38 PM I’m guessing around 220 pass yards and about 70 on the ground with 2 total tds. Sound about right?

Bye bye ! at his age, the odds were against him. still are. but I dont mind seeing him play well. I do hope he does. but ego is a common issue in sport. coaches have to massage and work the ego to keep players in the headspace they need to be in to succeed. JagFan 184 Posted 18 hours ago I watched most of the NYJ/Pitt game. Fields look good throwing the ball. The long throw to Wilson for his first TD had great touch on it. If he has taken even the slightest step forward in passing, he’s going to finish QB top 3.

kutulu 1,689 Posted 17 hours ago Nice showing. Let's see how he does week 2 and 3? I took him at the end of auction so I didn't have to spend more then a buck for my 3rd QB, but who knows, maybe he'll be a 1 dollar keeper next year. Go Fields!

He needs to find a way to win these games.

His weekly upside though I think could be even higher

I'd call him a poor Man's Jalen Hurts. He definitely relies on the rushing production more than Hurts but I've always loved Fields in Fantasy, he's always affordable.
