You know.   i really liked the TV show the West Wing.   Now, while this show generally veered left, many many times in the show they would float an idea to help the American People, but they would always get to the question of "how are we going to pay for it?"   Which I found to be very sobering. 

The current liberals say 3 year old things like -- Dems wanna feed everyone, house everyone, give everyone healthcare and make everyone happy, always.  but they skip the part of how will it be paid for.  Outside of "Tax the billionaires!"  Which of course is stupid because BOF SIDEZ are funded by billionaires so they both know they aint hitting them too hard.

The lawyer, Tyler Becker, also argued it was the administration’s discretion whether to use $6 billion in contingency funds already set aside by Congress to continue issuing SNAP benefits.

I'm not cheering anything on, but I'll be a bit more sympathetic when we rename it to "SNAP Charity" and the recipients start showing a little gratitude for receiving it instead of treating it like a right, and when people such as yourself acknowledge that it's just another form of wealth redistribution.
