How come your AG or any of the other enforcement agencies in the state didn’t do any work on this? Keep voting them in.

Because the AG is a Muslim.

It’s a federal program. The Assistant US Attorney prosecuting this for the DOJ now, Joe Thompson, was part of the Biden DOJ US Attorney’s office in MSP that has been investigating this since 2022. These programs like many Covid programs lacked built in oversight & had been created during the Trump administration though.

More Funding Needed to Prosecute Pandemic Fraud, Justice Dept. Says

The Justice Department said more than $1.4 billion in stolen relief funds have been seized or forfeited. But estimates of the total stolen run into the tens of billions.

More resources are needed to investigate and prosecute individuals who stole billions in pandemic relief funds, the Justice Department said in a report on Tuesday.

Federal officials said they have made “significant progress” in going after fraud, but conceded that “substantial work remains in the face of numerous challenges.” Agencies responsible for pursuing pandemic fraudsters have been restrained by budget cuts, according to the report.

The federal government, which distributed trillions in relief funds after the onset of the pandemic, has charged more than 3,500 defendants for offenses related to pandemic fraud, according to the report. That’s up from about 3,100 defendants who had been charged as of August. More than $1.4 billion in fraudulently obtained funds have been seized or forfeited.

Most cases have involved the Paycheck Protection Program, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program and expanded unemployment benefits.

While the amount of stolen funds is unknown, the Small Business Administration’s inspector general estimated that more than $200 billion — or at least 17 percent of the roughly $1.2 trillion in pandemic loans the agency awarded — was distributed to “potentially fraudulent actors.”

The Government Accountability Office said that as much as $135 billion of the roughly $900 billion in unemployment benefits distributed between April 2020 and May 2023 were likely illegally claimed.<<<

Where the Fed’s are already investigating as they have been here since 2022, no they’d defer to the Feds.

It’s rampant in the state. The AG didn’t do shitt. Because he’s a liberal and a Muslim.  Thats the bottom line. You’re really trying to justify the AG allowing this to go on?

There’s an Assistant US Attorney on it who’s been prosecuting it since 2022. I’m surprised you think there’s something the MN AG should get after that Bondi’s DOJ won’t. The Biden & Trump DOJ in MSP have together filed 3 cases. One was the one posted by Scan for $7.5 million from 2023, another just now for $3.5 million, and there’s another for $8 million.

In the FAR more numerous instances where white people commit fraud, I don’t see the people on this forum demanding that we kick all whites out of America.

In fact, they elect the fraudsters to office. Rick Scott and our current president are both proven fraudsters, and MAGA loves them.

So the Biden Regime DOJ was after 0.2% of the fraud?  Good stuff

I'm not sure what you mean by "it's a federal program."   First of all, there are MULTIPLE Minnesota programs being accused of fraud.  And the ones being funded by the feds are being administered by the state, as far as I can can tell.  If you have some PROOF that the feds are funding it AND administering it but trying to blame the state I'm willing to look at it, but as far as I can tell these programs are being run and/or monitored by the state.  Here is a CBS article that talks a little bit about several of the cases:

Three cases right now for over 19 million, first case was 7.5 of that, so that’s closer to 40%. Regardless whole investigation started under Biden & it’s the same prosecutor. It’s to the US Attorney’s credit he didn’t purge him.

Exactly.  Federal and state money administered at the state level.  Trump Administration should not be sending any more federal funds to Minnesota until they can prove the money will have safeguards

The program is $18 billion and ‘as much as’ half ‘’may” have been subject to fraud. The Feds (same prosecutor under Biden & Trump) haven’t filed charges for nearly that much.

Hassan Defrauded Autism Program of $14M, Carried Out Feeding Our Future Fraud, Bought Real Estate in Kenya with Taxpayer Money

MINNEAPOLIS – Asha Farhan Hassan, age 28, was charged today by federal information with wire fraud for her role in a $14 million autism fraud scheme.  Hassan was also charged with participating in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme, for which she received $465,000.<<<

Thats from the link from the DOJ on the CBS story. It’s 14 million for that specific prosecution.

Feds created the program, it’s given by the Feds to the states to distribute.

>>The program in question was launched in 2020…<<

The program was created under Trump1. Like a lot of the emergency Covid programs it was warned at the time there were no guardrails or monitoring built in. If you read the articles on this they lay out how this is a massive national problem.

I have no idea what you're even trying to say.  And if there's a source, post the link like I did.  And the statement,

Quote

Feds created the program, it’s given by the Feds to the states to distribute.

just confirms what I said.  The Feds finance something and hand it to the states to administer.  Administering a program doesn't mean just give out free money.  It means create guardrails to ensure fraud doesn't occur, and when fraud does occur prosecute it.  And Minnesota did neither of those things, which is why they're getting criticized.

Seriously man, what happened to you?  Old SID's would understand such basic concepts.  Does TDS really affect the brain so much that your thought processes are similar to Mongo from Blazing Saddles?

The Feds almost always monitor these programs. A good deal of the root causes were explained in this 2023 GAO report - this was linked as a source in the link in the OP by MO.

This reminds of the vaccine situation. Trump’s single accomplishment as president 1st term was the fast tracking of the vaccine. But he also deserves credit for dumping ~$7 trillion into the economy to keep it afloat right as it was crashing. These programs were part of that, & no there wasn’t time to build out oversight like we saw after 2008. It was an emergency. But it led to a great deal of fraud - and inflation. - But it was necessary & Trump deserves credit for it. But I don’t think these programs were something his followers value or see the worth of. It’s too bad because like the vaccines he deserves credit.

The PPP fraud was absolutely insane. And the government let millionaires KEEP the money. They “forgave” most of the loans - just FREE MONEY. And the same party who applauded that turned into skyscreamers when Biden tried to forgive student debt.

Make America Gullible Again - They give free money to millionaires and billionaires time and time again… but get angry if a poor person gets food stamps.

“These indictments, alleging the largest pandemic relief fraud scheme charged to date, underscore the Department of Justice’s sustained commitment to combating pandemic fraud and holding accountable those who perpetrate it,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “In partnership with agencies across government, the Justice Department will continue to bring to justice those who have exploited the pandemic for personal gain and stolen from American taxpayers.”

“Today’s indictments describe an egregious plot to steal public funds meant to care for children in need in what amounts to the largest pandemic relief fraud scheme yet,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray. “The defendants went to great lengths to exploit a program designed to feed underserved children in Minnesota amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, fraudulently diverting millions of dollars designated for the program for their own personal gain. These charges send the message that the FBI and our law enforcement partners remain vigilant and will vigorously pursue those who attempt to enrich themselves through fraudulent means.”<<

>>Based on their fraudulent claims, the defendants received approximately $4.3 million in Federal Child Nutrition Program funds, which they misappropriated for their own personal benefit, including expenditures such as vehicles, real estate, and property on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.<<

That’s a different case. It’s a different set of defendants.

Your original earlier quote, which I quoted back to you further up, originally came from this Biden DOJ indictment.

But again as the bolded shows even that case you reference was by the Biden DOJ.
