Gepetto 1,518 Posted December 10, 2025 I was just researching Christmas movies because I got to thinking about it and there is a severe lack of good Christmas movies, especially in the last 15 to 20 years. Amazing to me that there is not enough creativity to at least create one good Christmas movie each year and one all time great Christmas movie every 3 to 5 years. Try Klaus (2019), I was not expecting it to be as good as it was... I don't know if it is streaming or not currently... It has a 95% approval rating (78 reviews) at Rotten Tomatoes...

I don't have Netflix though unfortunately. Thanks for the recommendation.

Some recent good ones... All is Bright. Bit of dark comedy, drama. The holdovers. Another dark one, more drama than laughs but heartwarming. Paul Giamatti twofer. Daddy's home 2 - wacky family comedy. Meet the coopers - mix of everything. Merry friggin Christmas - wacky family comedy Christmas Chronicles, candy cane lane, oh what fun, Christmas with the Campbell's Lots.
