I was actually responding to "doubled the fund raising for the Kennedy center.", which is something Trump said.  But I looked it up and apparently the fund raising has doubled over the previous year, so what DJT said was true.  I withdraw my snide remark and emoji.

Fundraising for the Kennedy Center Honors was almost doubled from 12 million to 23 million. Overall budget for the Kennedy Center is over $250 million. We don't know yet if the fundraising for the whole year will be up or not. But a big part of that budget is ticket sales, which are down quite a bit. So it will take some serious fundraising increases to balance the budget this year.

I hope Trump gets people to fund the center; it's an important arts institution.
