Maybe he got high on the adrenaline of harassing and instigating law enforcement that he came back to do it again. Only this time with a gun to increase the adrenaline.

Actually that’s a good point, he probably had it the first time &, again, never drew or used it.

Stephen Miller behind misleading claim that Alex Pretti wanted to "massacre" agents

>>>Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is under fire for issuing misleading and incendiary information that claimed immigration agents killed an armed Minnesota protestor Saturday because he wanted to "massacre" them.

But that language was dictated to Noem and her department by the man most responsible for the controversial operation: Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff and top Trump adviser, four sources tell Axios.

Why it matters: The episode illustrates the sheer power of Miller, Trump's close and longest-serving political adviser whose dominion in the White House far exceeds his title.

His influence extends to de facto oversight of Noem, though she's a Cabinet secretary who technically outranks him.

"Everything I've done, I've done at the direction of the president and Stephen," Noem told a person who relayed her remarks to Axios.

Zoom in: Immediately after the shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis about 10:05 a.m. ET on Saturday, administration officials in Washington knew they had a potential disaster on their hands but had little information.

The officers directly involved in the shooting "all shut up and got lawyers real quick so there wasn't a lot of information," one of the sources briefed on the statement said.

Under Miller's direction, DHS officials began assembling a statement based on information from other officers on scene who noted that Pretti had a firearm.

"Stephen heard 'gun' and knew what the narrative would be: Pretti came to 'massacre' cops," a source briefed on the process of assembling the press statement said.

Friction point: DHS posted the statement at 12:31 p.m. on X. Some White House officials had signed off on the statement, but others had not, leaving them frustrated.

"Others within the White House attempted to clean up the DHS statement prior to it being sent but it had already been disseminated," said another source familiar with the episode.

The president was kept apprised of the statement by Miller and Noem's top adviser, Corey Lewandowski, one of Trump's former campaign managers in 2016, according to two sources.

Miller then posted on X that Pretti was "an assassin," which a source said was based on a preliminary report from Customs and Border Patrol.

Vice President Vance then reposted it on his page.

Noem subsequently used that language at a news conference, as did the Border Patrol commander then overseeing operations in the Twin Cities, Greg Bovino.

Noem also inaccurately suggested Pretti was "brandishing" his weapon when videos showed he never reached for his weapon and had been disarmed before he was shot.

Zoom out: As more video from bystanders and observers contradicted the official narrative over the weekend, Trump became agitated with what he saw on TV and social media, and decided to make changes in the Minnesota operation.

On Monday, he dispatched border czar Tom Homan, a critic of the heavy-handed law-enforcement efforts pushed by Miller.

Inside the room: Noem on Monday night had a two-hour meeting in the White House with Trump to discuss the matter, The New York Times first reported.

"She's a loyal person and she wanted her voice heard," one source said. "She made sure to convey her loyalty."

Miller wasn't in the meeting. Neither was Homan, with whom Noem has feuded. Homan was en route to Minnesota by then.

Noem has complained to others that she feels she's being hung out to dry over the episode and has made sure to emphasize she took direction from Miller and the president, a source told Axios.

Between the lines: Trump's move was a rare break from Miller, who remains one of the president's closest advisers, sources said.

I’m gonna start this so we don’t have a reply. Post for me that says “oh whataboutism deflection!!”

Him and the dog killer from one of the Dakotas shouldn’t say that publicly. Don’t call him a terrorist, don’t say he was going to massacre people.

BUT..

At the same time you have waltz saying he wants Minnesota to investigate the murder of this man. Not the death of this man, not the fatality of this man. He’s already claimed it’s murder. Can’t have that either.

Yeah I dislike Whataboutism & hypocrisy arguments.

Point is Miller is telling a cabinet secretary what to say word for word & now she’s leaking she’s being thrown under the bus.

I’ll just point out Trump is deeply underwater in the polls on this. People didn’t vote for persons legally following citizenship paths being yanked out, children being detained, nor US citizens getting beaten up, yanked out of cars, warrantless sweeps, warrantless entry, public abuse, shootings, etc.

Well look we asked liberals for help and they said no. We said have the cops come get them. They said no. We said OK well we’re gonna give anybody self deports because they shouldn’t be here. $1000 in a free plane ticket. The left still says no. So the ice has to come in and they are fought every step of the way quite literally fought. But then the left wants to throw up their hands ago. Oh wow, this is horrible.
Well, yeah, when you offered no help and resist absolutely everything when the mess that needs to get cleaned up gets cleaned up it’s going to be really ugly. But you guys made that bed.

I understand that the people voted for this and that the left doesn’t really care about what the country wants yes.

And that still doesn’t work the left responsibility in doing absolutely nothing about immigration.

Regulated immigration is conservative. Putting state authority over individual liberty is not.

This is the guy that said Ashley babbit was murdered

It wasn't but two weeks ago that I clarified this for you this for you in the Renee Good thread, but I know to expect a post like this as reading is difficult for you. We've all known for years that your lack of reading comprehension ability is an ongoing issue, third behind your cognitive deficiencies and lack of awareness of what is going on around you.

To repeat myself for the non-retards reading this,   I do not second guess the cop charged with protecting that hallway in that stressful and so no, I do not feel that Ashli Babbit was murdered. IMO noth Renee Good and Ashlii Babbitt got caught up in the hoopla and committed suicide by cop.

But there's much more.

It is only to Ashli that I have ever, or ever will, express condolences to, or feel sympathy for, what happened. I do not like nor respect Renee Good and I constantly restrain myself from posting my true feelings about her due to the circumstances of her demise. I do pay tribute to Ashli's memory and express remorse for the loss of a worthwhile soul.

RIP Ashli Babbitt ❤️

The earlier incident started when he stopped his car after observing ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot, and began shouting and blowing his whistle, according to a source who asked not to be named out of fear of retribution.

Pretti later told the source that five agents tackled him and one leaned on his back – an encounter that left him with a broken rib. The agents quickly released him at the scene.

“That day, he thought he was going to die,” said the source.

Pretti was later given medication consistent with treating a broken rib, according to records reviewed by CNN.<<<

- This would be another example of a due process violation. This is all illegal conduct by the federal government.

"according to a source".  LOL

Ron Artest trying to attack a man just trying to enjoy a basketball game has never been funny.  Even his employer didn't find it funny.  That you thought it was funny and username worthy says more about your character than anything I've posted, without the need to resort to an alias.
