Cultural existential threat: Marxism and Moral Relativism

You could never fire me, I worked in high tech, where intelligence and pluralization are valued, and finance is a cog. And we get it, you are a corporate finance guy who doesn't like links supporting assertions. You are obviously in the feelz division of finance. Tell us more about the 10 organizational layers below you; how are they structured? -

Struck a nerve, did i? I said data, you said facts. I said no, data. Now you say "data points" and even quote it. Are you special needs? You can't reason, you can barely write, you have no social skills, and now you think you've got 10 layers of bean counters beneath you? Are there windmills outside your executive office suite just waiting to be conquered? They say a person rises to his level of incompetence; if so, I expect you to be CFO of the earth someday. -

You are truly a blithering idiot. You claimed this thread was based on trans issues. I pointed out that in the OP, I specifically said that the problem is not these specific issues but the trend of increased moral relativism. You deflected with some pablum about "data points" (another phrase I didn't use). I tried to steer you back to your inability to read the OP and have an intelligent discussion. You then accused me of deflecting above. It is true, people are reading these exchanges and drawing conclusions. It's not what you think, however. I'm once again amazed by your utter and complete lack of self-awareness. I think you honestly think you are winning something here. I feel sorry for you. -

I'm good, thanks. Still alive, so I can't complain, but I still do. Glad to see you back, hope you keep posting here. -

So you didn't read my OP, as expected. Good job, good effort. -

Once again, you can't read, or didn't even bother to read the premise in my OP, which I pasted above. You just came in to spew venom and not have a productive conversation. You could use a break, you are getting beaten so bad here. Maybe go read an article on the creativity of pivot tables? -

Ah, more facts from BeachGuy. Do you have a link supporting these numbers? Of course not, it's just more feelz. -

I appreciate the response. Regarding the trans, in my OP I specifically said sports and safe spaces. Locker rooms, spas, prisons (odd to call that a "safe space," but you get it). I said nothing about using pronouns or preferred names, which BTW I've done in the past with trans people I've known. To me that is common courtesy to an individual, but I see that as a personal decision which is NOT a moral absolute in either direction, and as such I oppose any newspeak legislation, for instance. I also agree with most of your Palestinian bullets, except perhaps your last one. I have no problem with the moral absolutism that the things I laid out regarding the treatment of women (and LGBTQ) are morally wrong. We could also discuss what makes a human "garbage," but I don't want to go down that rathole. Let's just say that I believe that the vast majority of Palestinians, other than the youngest of children, have been brainwashed beyond redemption into beliefs which are anathema to being a peaceful, contributing society. I value life so I don't support wanton killing of them. As I type this, I think the real challenge to my OP premise is: who defines the moral absolutes? This brings in the concept of a Judeo-Christian underpinning -- even if you don't believe in the God part, the ten commandments and the teachings of Jesus are a pretty good basis for a society IMO. -

I said data, not facts. A link showing the opinion of political analysts is a piece of data; it supports my argument. You bring nothing to support yours except an inability to read the English language. -

Thanks. I predicted that BeachGirl would come in with inane drivel, I just need to be better about ignoring him. -

Dear God are you stupid. You called me a troll for thinking the protests are impacting his decisions. Some political analysts agree; are they trolls as well? And we can't know, because nobody is inside his vacuous, dementia-riddled brain. Now go run a creative ERP report. Those plastic spoons aren't going to make themselves!
