Do I start Malcolm Mitchell

Recommended Posts

Fellas, need your feedback, do you start Mitchell this week? With it being playoffs, its do or die.,.my starting receivers right now are OBJ, Dougie Baldwin and Crowder in the flex. I have Kenny Britt and Mitchell on my bench, but the more i read up on Mitchell, more i think he is going to go off. I wish i had this problem in other areas of my team (RBs, TEs) …..thanks and good luck to all this weekend.

I would play your three listed starters.

Agreed. Mitchell is a good find for those who don't have top 20-25 options in every lineup spot. Better than Britt, but the other three are too proven to sit for Mitchell at this point.

why is everyone so scared of Baltimore? its at Patriots and Dak Prescott threw for 300 plus pass yards and 3 tds vs ravens?

Its Tom Brady.....

Because they're the #1 defense in the NFL? :dunno:

I don' think anyone is scared of Baltimore. Mitchell is still a bit of an unknown vs three guys who have been pretty productive this year. He's a fine play, he just isn't a top 20 play with such a short track record.

Not scared of Mitchell.

I'm starting him on one team.

But in this case he's the forth best Wr.

which in turn could mean Ravens shut down the run and all the Pats can do is dink and dunk there way to 325 pass and 3tds.

I see what you are saying but people said Green Bay had the #1 Rush defense before Zeke Elliott ran through them.

Sometimes you trust the Player/Players over silly Rankings imo and Brady is one of the best.

Sure but you asked why anyone was concerned.

I agree with you and will be starting Brady. But I do have concerns

I had Ware and Cooper who crapped the bed so I need double points my QB is Brady so I'm gonna roll with Mitchell instead of Diggs. Im down and I need Mitchell to have a big game if I'm gonna have a chance after Cooper and Ware stunk it up.

I am with confidence. He has been trending up big time...targets from 5 to 7 to 10 last week and Brady really trusts him. Amendola out, Bennett injured against an elite run defense...hell yea

Yeah I would also agree.

And without question start Mitchel over Diggs.

Op, only Crowder could feasibly sit if you have a strong feeling about MM and you're sure it's not just gas.

Baltimore tends to 'play New England tough' and I don't love that the Pats have done a lot of limpin here lately. But it seems like MM is legit involved and Bennett is physically broken and can't contribute as many (ie: me) hoped. So MM is serving as pseudo Gronk so he's becoming pretty doggone 'trustable'.

You can't move Baldwin or obj so it's really a MM vs Crowder convo. MM is okay for me in this case. It also gives you a player Monday night so you'll ideally be the one who gets the last shot at putting up points/winning.

Thanks for all the feedback fellas. Yeah its going to have to be a game time decision for me..MM definitely has a lot of upside and has been getting more targets, just hard to bank on it from really 3 weeks of play…Crowder has been a terrific find and with Jordan Reed being a bit banged up, I'm hoping Cousins looks his way more. Ah, hate this at this point of the season ….Right now I'm sticking with Crowder….

...and Mitchell himself remains blissfully unaware of all the hand-wringing and second-guessing that has been generated on his behalf recently - at least, according to NFL.com:

..."That's cool," Mitchell said of his fantasy prowess, "but I really have no idea about fantasy football."

To which backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett jokingly responded from across the room, "I've got you on my team!"

At least his locker room is taking notice. It's about time everyone else does.

brady is the dreamiest. how about being so good people are clammoring to restructure the divisions because you hold over so strong. malcolm did well too. rose above leveon bell and his record setting shenanigans. onward and upward.

Some idiots think the AFCE has just been historically terrible for 15 years, the same 15 years that just so happens to overlap the Belichick/Brady era

Now this week against Denver I'm benching him but I have a lot of options (dynasty)

I can't run him...Denver is soft versus the run and you know there will be lots of Blount in that game. I can't imagine a monster game from Brady...maybe low 200, with most of that going to Edelmen and Bennett I'd guess. I think Hogan and Mitchell will come back to earth this week.
