Dr. who treated Tiger, Dara Torres, several NFL'ers

Recommended Posts

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=4744216

I tried to word the title of this as to not presume anyones guilt...but with the scrutiny that Tiger is under right now and the attention given to PEDs in all sports...I am certain the media will fully investigate this.

At this point it wouldnt shock me if it was uncovered that Tiger took 'em. He's had a physcial transformation of Bonds-ian proportions (minus the gigantic dome) and i'm sure he has access to the finest quality, undetectable stuff.

Tiger is much too young to need HGH. If he's taking it, it's as a performance enhancer. I've heard of guys in the 40's and 50's taking anti-aging doses, but only enough to replace the hormone that your body stops producing and to get you back to youthful levels. In fact, these HRT (hormone replacement therapy) patients are tested every six months. If their levels go above your natural, young adult levels, the doctor is supposed to cut back your dosage.

But I'm sure doctors can be bought-out to prescribe whatever dose the patient wants.

I actually always suspected that Torres took HGH. That defined, veiny look is a tell tale sign. Especially at her age.

Saying Tigers physical "trasformation" is proof is assinine. The guy had a steady build up over the course of 13 years and it's not like golf is a sport where strentgh is needed. So the Bonds comparison or physical attribute 'proof' is dumb.

With that said, I've always suspected there were some kind of steroids in all of golf. Which includes Tiger and everyone else. And it's not to hit the ball further. It's strictly for accelerating the healing of injuries. Anybody that has ever played golf alot knows what it does to your back and joints. The golf swing is not very natural to your body. It creates all kinds of weird muscle pulls, joint pain, and tweaks to your body. I always suspected some kind of roid specifically used to help healing was in the golf world. So to be honest, it would not suprise me if it came out that Tiger or any/all other golfers used a supplement or steroid that is generally banned.

;) B.S.

Tiger was a booze hound and womanizer. He probably used HGH to help with hangovers and mysterious "bumps" in certain areas.

I have also heard rumors that he used Ambien as a "performance enhancer"...

Tigers transformation is no different (other than the giant head) than that of Barry Bonds, who is the poster boy for PED speculation.

Before?

after?

Are you serious with this? Look, I've stated that golfers (like Tiger) can use roids. I don't deny it, hell I've always suspected it. But a human being can work out for 13 years and get in shape (Tiger is known to be a gym hound). It's not like the first picture was in 2008 and the second was in 2009 or something. Come on man. Have you seen some of those baseball guys that were on PED's. Some were scrawny shortstops and pitchers. Golfers would use a specific steroid for injury recovery not to look like the governer of California.

I'm trying to work with you here, but lets use our brain a little.

From the article:

Galea visited Woods' home in Florida at least four times in February and March, the newspaper reported, to provide that platelet therapy after his agents were concerned by his slow recovery from June 2008 knee surgery.

So he visited him at the beginning of 2009. That "after" picture of him is from 2008. The guy is supposively a knee specialist. I really doubt Tiger would risk taking steroids. He was outdriving players when he was a skinny kid out of college.

Dana Torres on the other hand has always been suspected. She posted her fastest swimming times in her 40's when women swimmers usually peak in their mid 20's.

I keep hearing about Ambien being abused or something. I thought it was a sleeping pill, why is in the media all of a sudden. I must have missed something.

No you are right. Every single man that has worked out for over ten years is in good shape and has a nice physique HAS to be on steroids. Barry Bonds was afterall.

Are we gonna talk about the story or are we gonna continue with this nonsense?

Like i said, it wouldnt shock me if he was doing it for whatever reason, faster recovery from injuries (he had knee problems for a long time prior to '08), to be stronger, or crap, he could have just done it to try and make himself look physcially better to his bevy of ladies...i wouldnt put it past him to be a shallow, musclehead when it comes to that aspect of things.

I am in the same boat. Apparently, he was using it to enhance his sexual experience. Some folks on the radio confirmed that it could be used for that as well. I don't know, but it seems like Viagra or Cialis might work better. If I took Ambien, I would be more concerned that I would pass out on some hot piece of ass. :dunno:

I don't know. I have much better sex when my wife is passed out. Perhaps there is something to this theory. :music_guitarred:

I will say the reckless way he messed around with the ladies could make you believe that he would take something like HGH. It doesn't make sense but he has shown recently that he doesn't always think things through. This story could really push him to sit out the 2010 majors.

It wouldn't surprise me if he took something to accelerate his healing after the surgery, and it wouldn't surprise me if he and others took something on a regular basis to recover faster from the trauma of an explosive golf swing. Think back to baseball; it seemed like the biggest use was recovery by, say, middle relievers.

Anyway, I'm having a hard time caring about this. :music_guitarred:

Never taken ambien. it definitely would not provide any type of sexual enhancement like viagra but it could provide a sort of relaxing exctasy if you had sex immediately after taking it. One of the side effects is occasional short term memory loss. You may not totally remember the sex the next day. Maybe that is what Tiger was after.

Unlike Barry Bonds, I really don't care if Tiger is on steroids and HGH. Guys like John Daly and Craig Stadler have won golf tournaments. There is no golf combine. No one cares, nor should they, how strong you are.

If Tiger is on steroids, it's for attracting the poontang. He's an egomaniac, so why would anyone be surprosed that he's vane enough to take drugs to look better? I also think Hugh Jackman takes steroids anf HGH when he plays certain rles and I don't care less about him as an actor. :music_guitarred:

People got Tigered-out. Even the story about him enjoying the occasional saugage link didn't really draw much interest.

Once there was a hore-per-day stepping forward, and teh sponsors bailed, people lost interest.

So you don't think it could have been that the stories didn't run for long, because they didn't have legs in the first place. :dunno:

You don't think half of the crazy stories were made up? Really.

Look, it appears a whole heckuv a lot was true. Very ture. But I do find it funny that people will say Tiger is a steroid taking homo with a straight face, when those two stories just up and vanished (they would've been huge) That's the thing, when the media/blog/gossip starts rolling you can't figure out what to believe. Some of it sticks and the stories that don't just go away, yet people still believe them.

Personally (and I obviously am only guessing, I have no insight to this) I think the sausage story was made-up sensationalism I don't buy that for a second. Dude's a pus3y hound.

I actually do believe he takes steroids or HGH. But i don't really care that much. It's golf. So he drives a few feet further. Big deal. How many years has the longest driver been the top money winner?

You know nothing about steroids, whereas I am clearly an expert.

Tiger doesn't use steroids to get bigger and stringer. That's just a tangential benefit....Steroids don't make you stronger. They simply help you recover from workouts faster so that you can work out again quicker......Tiger is able to put in "Tiger Days" as Hank Haney called them because he recovers so quickly thanks to the roids.

Basically, the roids allow him to practice non stop.

Well that and the knee injury thingy. But I totally agree. I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few golfers did PED's.

However I still don't understand why this story just up and vanished. It's a damn big story if it was true. Kinda weird, no?

There have been a select few athletes that are simply too big to get busted.

MJ and Tiger are pretty much it in our lifetime.....and much like when MJ's suspension for gambling on Bulls games was covered up, Tiger's steroid use will be covered up as well.

Think of these guys like Bank of America. Too big to fail so our govt bails them out.

So you're gonna go the consipracy theory route of why this story just went away. Maybe Oliver Stone will do a movie telling us the real story. Or Rosie O'Donnell will tell us the truth about Tiger and roids like she did with the twin towers. :dunno:

Or do you truly believe MJ, the most championship driven athlete we have seen in our lives, felt like taking a break and trying another sport smack in the middle of an all time dynasty?

I kind of agree with newbie. personally i am tigered out. and if he took ped's to help his knee, i could care less. I believe most of the women who cam forward. Even if 50% were lying its a huge number and I also believ ethere are some that kept their mouth's shut. I also believe he is in that sex rehab place now. i don't think he is the ghey but from his text messages and from some of the stories that slipped out about him mentioning other guys, he is pretty sexually insecure. When I am focking some chick, i'm not asking about her former partners. i could care less who she focked before me, unless i plan on getting serious. i notice that insecure chicks ask a lot about past partners so Tiger is the male version of that.

My prediction is that in a few weeks, he will hold a press conference and announce he has been in therapy/rehab to help him understand and cope with his problem. I'd say its 50/50 he goes on Oprah too. Then he will announce that he is golfing in the masters. He'll probably golf in a couple of tuneup tourneys before that.
