If it's only democrats then what most likely happened is Trump cut deals with the republicans to keep them off of the list. It's not ideal. I want everyone involved in prison, but like I said so much is going on behind the scenes it's impossible to tell with complete accuracy why certain things are happening. It's actually more personal than that. You view yourself as a victim to DJT. Your ego ramps up every time he speaks so you can reinforce your identity. Your identity is so wound up in hating him, that if you let your mask of hate slip for a second, it would put your identity into question. That's why every move he makes hurts you so badly.
