This is great news. This is a big reason why Trump wanted to go hard on illegal immigration. The administration that does the most for our country. I'm grateful.

It could be a mix of many. Hybrids, future humans, interdimensional, NHI from the 3rd dimension.

The movie itself? It may be. I am seeing so many theories thrown around. For me personally, all I want to see is a bad ass alien movie, which is what I expect. I don't care about how they are trying to shape any narrative. They may be trying to introduce more fear into the equation. I believe aliens exist, they have had contact with this earth for a very long time, possibly hundreds of thousands of years, and that there is nothing to fear as of now for the most part. Before people get all high and mighty on their "I know exactly what is possible from my limited human mind" horse, I am always open to being wrong. I try not to be so definitive as to what is exactly going on or what is possible, because we just don't know. Paradigms are being shifted and broken all the time.

This is another assumption based on a very limited perspective. We find the lower intelligence species of our planet fascinating. If life is as scarce as you believe, and it is as hard to find as you believe, I would think and alien species would be thrilled to find us.

Where are the liberals cheering this on?

All I am saying is that I am not going to proclaim what is impossible. If we have had contact with aliens, then it destroys whatever limits you think exist.

I think it's interesting that you are so sure the only way for a super advanced civilization to find us is through a random encounter. Do you not see how incredibly limited that perspective is? You are narrowing the ways one civ can find another to one single way, and that's final. We breath through perceived impossibilities constantly. Which should tell us we should always keep a very open mind as to what is possible.

Good news to wake up to. The world is healing.

We shouldn't even have to make legislation like this. Child abuse is already illegal. Weird how people try to make excuses so they can get away with abusing kids in this specific way.

Still too many assumptions here. We don't know how or why life grows and becomes sentient on a planet. We don't even know where consciousness comes from. It's hard to make many accurate assumptions about how the universe really works when we are still using hydrocarbons as the majority of our fuel source. We are not that advanced technologically. It only seems like we are because of how much more advanced than other species on this planet we are. Maybe a super advanced civilization could find us by using methods other than just happenstance.
