Kamara intrigues me with NO turning to Shough at QB.... In leagues where i drafted Kamara this year, I did so expecting a little more running volume but also a LOT more passing volume. As bad as New Orleans has been, and as bad as the run game has been, what has surprised me has been the lack of targets for Kamara, coming off 68 receptions on 89 targets in 14 games last year, Kamara is currently on pace for just 66 targets if he plays 17 games this season. He has gone from over 6 targets per game to under 4. That is huge. He's also averaging almost 4 less carries a game... so in total roughly 6.5 less touches per game. But it's the passing targets that have been the big let down for PPR formats.

i'm only replying because I enjoy good debate, not because I genuinely care if the Jets are ranked 30th or 31st You are correct, the Jets had nightmarish offense against Denver... but their offense has been nightmarish all season. At this point, that is who they are and not something I use to excuse a close loss or make a win seem bigger than it was. Aside from Pittsburgh game back in week 1, most of the Jets offensive numbers and Fields numbers have come in catch up mode and/or garbage time. Even against Cincy, they were down as much as 17 at points in that game. I would have told you not to take Cincy. Not because I thought the Jets were going to win the game but because making your survivor pick against a winless team is a sucker bet. History tells us most teams are going to win a game at some point. No way in hell i'm picking against a winless team in week 8 unless they are playing a far more complete team than Cincy. I'd be more looking to pick teams playing against the Titans, Saints, Browns, Cardinals, Panthers without Bryce Young, etc.

swimmers shave their bodies and wear swim caps for a reason. How many have you seen wearing big chains in the pool? Olympic swimming doesn't generally have certain demographics, I guess. It does seem odd that a sprinter would want to wear a chain, or have long nails, or big hair, etc... but I'm guessing they might also want to wear different clothes and are just not allowed to. I am pretty sure there are regulations (both olympic and from their own national governing bodies) that limit them to a few choices when it comes to attire.

i know it does not matter at all but i'd have the Bengals ahead of the Jets. H2H win aside, the Bengals have a better offense and are a better coached team. The way the Jets defense is playing and being coached, it's nearly as bad as the Bengals as well.

As someone already mentioned, some people don’t like to immediately jump out of bed when the alarm sounds. So if you’re worried you might doze off again, hitting snooze is just a good “oh shiit” button. usually when I hit it I end up turning it off 10 min later when I do get up and it never winds up going off again on its own.

She lost because the "threat to democracy!" party skipped part of their democratic process and appointed her the nominee. Of course, by the time they admitted Biden was toast, there wasn't enough time, yada yada.... but in all seriousness, had the democrats held a primary, she would not have been your candidate and Trump probably loses. And in hindsight, they could have held a primary super late in the game and it would have been a better result for them. For all the reasons they played the game perfectly in 2020, they failed miserably in 2024.

never was a fan of the office. I casually started watching parks and rec several years ago and thought it was good. Casually as in I sort of let it play and would definitely miss episodes. I think last year I tried watching it from the start again and found myself not nearly as entertained. I think I just don't really care for the mockumentary style. The Paper is also pretty bad from the episodes i've seen

As a Rays fan i'm not usually going to cheer for another AL East team although it's really just Yankees I won't cheer for. The Dodgers beat us in the covid shortened season so it's also hard cheering for them but I am pulling for LA because of Snell and Glasnow.

Why should the US be the main destination? The woman my friend is dating, her daughter was also attempting to come here illegally. One of the pit stops is Italy (then Canada, then ultimately the USA while their temporary visa expires). She was not able to get to Canada. She went back to Brazil. Why didn't she stay in Italy? These people are not slaves (unless you want to count the slave labor they provide to people like you ). The places they are running away from don't ultimately care or want them back. They don't become criminals until they reach their destination and stay past a certain time frame.

well the mask thing is about protecting their identity while they do a job and I don't think its unreasonable for them to not be harassed because the left doesn't agree with deporting illegal immigrants. There are delusional people like timcrotch who then take it to the max and I certainly wouldn't want them knowing who I am or being able to harass my family. As for how many there need to be, no idea. But it's definitely not as easy as just waiting with the super. They have whole networks and communities. One person sees a marked vehicle in the neighborhood and every illegal immigrant will know to stay clear for a bit. (yes I know exactly how this goes as I may have mentioned in other threads I have a friend dating an illegal Brazilian).
