    I was Right !!! I was Wrong ...

It was not a great draft year for me and my success in leagues was almost entirely attributed to properly working waivers, free agency and trades. I was right that Seattle was the DST to pick in the last round of drafts. I was right that Fairbairn was the kicker to pick last. I was right that Barkley should not go ahead of Robinson or Gibbs and that Taylor would be a nice value. Right on Henderson in dynasty. ... and right that Rashee Rice would be a stud after his suspension if you could tread water until then. I guess also right about Drake London prior to the injury. Totally wrong on Kamara as a PPR value in round 4. Wrong about Calvin Ridley. Wrong about Mike Evans although that was more injury related. Very wrong about Justin Fields on the Jets. The Jets organization is probably more to blame there than Fields as they never used him correctly prior to his benching.

Now that the fantasy season is over...

Switch into baseball mode. Nothing needs to be done on your end for FF until after free agency and the NFL draft, unless it's simply to scratch an itch. If you have any dynasty leagues, you can focus on trading there.

When do you sell your stocks?

depends what kind of investor/trader you are. I have assets I won't sell because they are "buy it and forget it" and collect the dividends along the way. There are funds, there are individual holdings, etc. Everyone should have investments like this. I also have an active trading account which technically answers more of your questions. I don't sell when I need money because I don't invest money I will need. It would have to be a crazy emergency for me to need to sell any stocks I've bought in that account. Generally, I sell if a stock has made me a certain % within a certain time period and I feel it is due for a correction. Mostly I am jumping in on stocks that I feel have been oversold and dropped too much. If i'm wrong and they continue to drop, they become a longer term investment for me because fundamentally I believe in each stock I am purchasing so I am also willing to invest (and probably already am) long term in them. I don't worry about short term vs long term capital gains tax unless it just so happens that a stock which is up a certain % is also approaching the 1 year purchase anniversary. Then I may hold a little longer to save on taxes. So basically I sell when I have a certain profit, but there is also a profit to time ratio for me. When I sell, I take my profits and reinvest the original capital in my next oversold pick.... but that specific account is very much something I view as a secondary source of income. Actively trading is something i enjoy doing and i've made upwards of 75k/yr with that account.

Nah I get it. It’s still effort involved. But if you have the vice adapter, all you need to buy is a roll of grip tape and a bottle of solvent (or mineral spirits). Put a drip tray underneath to catch the excess solvent and it will last forever.

it's pretty simple. i don't know of any glue. hook knife to strip the old grip unless you want to blow it off to save it, grip tape, grip solvent.

tour velvet or lamkin crossline... do they still make those? I'm the opposite of fireballer, i rarely change my grips. old toothbrush and some soapy water every few months keeps them great. I also tend to keep whatever comes stock as its usually some form of company branded tour velvet. I think my irons and driver have golf pride "z grip", its the same thing.
