Didn't realize we had any Guillotine players in here. My 3rd year playing - not so hot my first couple years (Wk 7 best - ugh). But this time... I'm still alive! Got lucky in the draft - ended up with players I wasn't thrilled about, but they've done well - JSN 2nd round was gold, and some lucky picks - Pittman & Olave. Down to $375 in FAB, which is 3rd highest of the 7 remaining. Sounds good, except I didn't spend wisely during the year. Only "end game" player I picked up was Kittle. Wasted the other on middling Wrs and Rbs to cover bye-weeks. If I did it over again, I would've been way more stingy with the FAB. Got some serious decisions to make with this week.... Breece Hall is gonna get me chopped eventually. Need to replace with an "end game" Rb, but not sure how much to spend. I heard spending/cost goes way down in these later weeks, but .... I've never been here before so I'm interested so I'm see it happen.

In !!! I have a lot of people that need to go. I'd like to request that only Dolphin fans be allowed to select owner Stephen Ross. Let us have our moment of joy.

Rocky ... the first one was actual art. After that they were written to entertain the idiot masses. "USA! Get that mean Russian! Yay, a stupid song while he works out!" Ugh.... the masses are asses. Rambo was similar. A well-written first movie, followed by brainless shoot-em-ups to placate the masses after that. I didn't mind sequels to some of the others mentioned here. Yes, Raiders got worse... but it was just a stupid action movie and not what anyone would consider art to begin with. Though while we're on the subject... big problem with Raiders - the entire movie is based on "how is Indiana gonna get out of this tight situation?" And of course he uses his wits - very entertaining. Until the end.... when GOD SAVES HIM. WTF? What happened to using his wits? Same thing happened in all the sequels too - the supernatural saves the day. So stupid.

Giants seem to have the Qb already, a great Wr once healthy, and they should have a top 3 pick next year along with a bunch of other picks. The owner let Daboll coach for nearly 4 years despite a horrid 20-40 record. They aren't in cap hell (min dead money) and can easily increase space with a few restructures and cuts. Overall, seems like a decent gig for some up-and-coming coach. Unlike say ... the Dolphins. God we suck.

Pitts had that early drop, but other than that.... Penix takes a huge chunk of blame. Falcon fans have to be wondering about his future. It wasn't just this game... been bad all year. Going into the game had a completion percentage of 60.8% and a passer rating of 88.1. Finished with a completion percentage of 42.9% and a passer rating of 76.0.

You'd think Republicans would love welfare because it keeps middle-class neighborhoods fairly homogeneous (they ain't moving up in life when they're all dependent) and results in many Democrats not voting (most recipients don't vote) - thus more Republican power. Yet, the opposite... "screw 'em, take away their welfare! That'll hurt 'em." Ironic.

Some are pro-life, some pro-choice.... I'm pro-abortion. It should be encouraged and subsidized. The vast majority of people getting abortions aren't valedictorians, but the scourge of society. Pay a little now, or a whole lot more later in policing, court costs, prisons, welfare, etc. And the thing about scum - they exponentially multiply. I disagree with pro-lifers about the moral issue, "All life is precious!" I disagree, but I can respect that argument. However, don't then tell me "Except in cases of rape or incest... then just abort the little bastard." That's called hypocrisy.

That'd create a lot more action among illegal bookmakers. The best way to reduce fixing is for legal bookmakers to spot and report unusual betting patterns. That's probably how the current situation came to light. Strange story as top level sports fixing is so rare - although this will wrongly make people believe it's rampant. Most sports fixing occurs in low-level sports - particularly tennis. Don't make squat, crazy expenses, and easy to get away with. Don't even have to throw a game, just say the first set, or lose first break, or numerous other options other than the final outcome. Enough players have admitted as much.

Sean Payton set precedent. Wilson's $85 mil dead cap hit was the biggest in NFL history. I'd like to see that happen with Tua as well.

Brian Thomas Jr. went out late in the 4th with a - get this ... non-contact shoulder injury. To be fair, there was a tiny smidge of contact, but the dude barely touched him. Rumored by some Twitters to be a broken collarbone based on how held his arm. Who knows.

Rule - never refer to a poster's wife as a "beaner" after he mentions being married to a Latino. He won't think it's funny and will report you. Mike won't think it's funny either and will suspend you. I still think it's funny, but comedy has a price.

First HC to be Fired: Titans' Brian Callahan
GobbleDog replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Could be. Though I always wondered if the owner (Ross) who's now 85, was scared to make a big change for fear that it might entail a rebuild which could take a few years - time he ain't got. It's just inexplicable... TEN YEARS with nothing to show for it. Hell, they might as well have hired me. Since Marino left, I've usually just been disappointed with the Dolphins - for 25 years now. But at this point I'm just full of rage. I'm sick of our Capri wearing coach who can't speak a coherent sentence. Detest the gm. And disgusted by the owner. Lots of Dolphin fans say "we should keep these certain players and build a new team around them." I disagree. I want everyone associated with this cesspool gone - every player, coach, trainer, the secretary who answers phones, the schlub selling hot dogs in the stands. And then owner - God willing he'll GIVE UP THE GHOST. As much as I love my Dolphins, I absolutely hate this team. -
Israel Gaza thread- is the peace agreement still in effect?

Fine, 268 convicted terrorists and 1,700 suspected terrorists.... in exchange for 20 hostages. I can't imagine why Hamas keeps taking Israeli hostages.
