I thought I already said made pretty good money? I don't make six figures (not yet at least) but I'm making enough to where I can buy a new truck and my wife diamond earrings. My thing is I don't see the problem but apparently others around here do. So either people here are actually broke and don't believe anyone here can make decent money or they are just jealous that I'm in my 20s making decent money :dunno:

Yeah we must all be haters.

Just remember this someday when you might be a little more open to the message.

I'm pretty open to it. But explain to me how the main focus is ALWAYS on how much I make? It's a freaking obsession with some of you. The only thing that would make sense is that a lot of you are jealous that a guy in his 20s is making decent money. I don't brag about making good money yet people here will try to bring it up and I have to let them know that no I'm not a broke guy in his 20s. That I actually make decent money. Could I make more? Yes if I decided to do something in which I got my degree in.

Lol

Yea I might end up getting both. My wife and I plan on taking a trip overseas next year (if nothing comes up with my dad and BIL due to their health). So the Samsung VR would be nice to have on those 8+ hour flights

Definitely. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about any of the games. I've got quite a few of them so I can probably give you a good recommendation or two

How do you buy them? Is it like from the device itself or do you have to use the computer or something for it?

I don't follow you around idiot, don't flatter yourself. I could just go back to you being an alias but it is fun to call you out on occasion.

You bought a truck which cost about 1/2 your gross annual income? Pay cash? No, you financed it? And you are going back to school; how much will you be working during that time?

Enjoy your two VR systems on your overseas trip.

Being on disability for BS helps.

What was that? And why did you go into the Air Force as an enlisted person?

Biology and I didn't have my degree then. Got it right after I got out. No student loans. Pretty nice not having that. When I go to PA school, which is considered a masters, I'll have them pay for that and pay me while I'm in. So no need for a job which is pretty nice :)

So you will be staying in the military? How many years will you be committed. Also I thought you were out of the Air Force these days, but I don't pay that close of an attention despite your belief otherwise.

Also there are not two many jobs for a BS in biology that pay $100K:

Jerry I believe you when you say you don't pay attention. Cause I literally just said in the previous post that I finished off my degree right when I got out of the Air Force. And no I never said I would be making six figures with just my BS in biology. Just that I could make more money than I am now if I choose to but I need the experience to help out when I go to PA school. Now once I'm out of that I'll be making six figures. I'll also be getting paid from my GI bill and having my PA schooling paid for while I'm doing that.

Guess I'm still confused: the GI Bill will pay your entire PA tuition AND pay you a salary while you do it AND you have no military commitment?

I've already served 6 years in the Air Force. You get that when you join. Also, while you're in you get tuition assistance which just pays for your schooling but doesn't give you extra pay. That doesn't come from your GI Bill. You can use TA as much as you want and it won't take away from your GI Bill. Once you get out you can use that GI Bill to pay for your full tuition. It also will pay you at the beginning of each semester a book stipend and also pay you monthly (depending on how many classes you take). If you take 3 classes or more it's considered full time so you get the max amount they will pay out per month (usually pretty close to 2K). I've only used up a year of my GI Bill (had a year left of school when I got out) so I've got 3 years left. Since PA school is only 2 years it'll be fully covered and I will be paid monthly while I'm in it.

I've tried playing it all pretty smart by doing as much school as I could while I was in so when I got out I wouldn't be having to go to school for 4 years. I didn't expect my grandpa to die and leave me some things that would give me income monthly so I had been saving up for when I wouldn't be making a whole lot but since he did things have been pretty comfortable money wise.

I got my nephew some Skylanders and I got another nephew remote control truck.

I got my wife some soft fleece pajamas. Kind of a corny gift, but she needed new pajamas and she got a nice watch for our anniversary.

It ain't about how much you make, silly.

My wife and I make a pretty good income but we didn't get diamond earrings and a new truck. Sure we could "afford it" in the sense that someone would give us a loan for the truck and a credit card for the earrings, but that's just being dumb with $$$.

So unless you have so much that it's no object at all, you just aren't spending wisely. But hey, it's your life and your choices.

Worms you also have to remember I totaled my truck so I needed one. Now sure I could have gotten a cheaper one. But I was gonna end up trading the cheaper truck in and getting a different one so in the end I would have lost money. I figured I might as well go ahead and get the truck that I want since I wouldn't be trading it in. Diamond earrings and the other presents I got my wife were just what I wanted to get her. I have a habit of trying to outdo myself from the previous year. Last year was a brand new camera since she wanted to get into photography and a wedding picture of us signed by the person who sang our wedding song (as well as a few other items). I try not to but I usually end up trying to outdo myself. It's a bad habit but oh well lol

So for two years you will be making $24K plus what you get from Grandpa's moonshine business, and you thought a $40K truck and diamond earrings were a good idea? :(

lol I make more than that. Plus I don't have any debt (besides my truck payment), good credit, and already had money saved up from when I didn't think I'd be having income that my grandpa left me. My financial situation is pretty good I'll say that. It also helps that I have a good head on my shoulders and have people who have taught me how to save money as well as what not to do with it. Now my buddy is freaking horrible with money. He's got a timeshare somewhere and can't sell it because no one wants it if that's any indication on how he handles his money. I don't know how but he was deployed for a year with the army and came back with a ton of money. Spent it all within 3 months.

No you weren't. You were trying to make it seem like I'm dumb with my money when in fact I'm not. The fact that I have both a savings and a good portfolio along with the fact that I'm making pretty good money despite taking a paycut just so I can get more healthcare is proof enough:)

I must admit. That does sound strong....to quite strong.

Also. $15/hr = $30K.

A $40K truck is more than 1 year's salary.

But he has gramps' rental properties.

In jerrys defense I haven't been working there for a year yet. But no need to be concerned with my income. I'm doing fine just like all of you :)

Well if you notice RP tends to follow me like a moth to a flame. Since I'm ignoring him it's eating him up alive and he can't stand it. Everyone else ill pretty much talk to. But him I'm selective about it. The more you ignore him the more it frustrates him. It's hilarious to see how he acts

Couple of things that happened to me while I was in the military. One was tearing my patella tendon when I was going through pararescue training, Another for tearing a muscle in my shoulder, etc. Couple different things for it.
