Ive been divorced for a year now and have sworn off women. At least women that i could potentially have a future with. This girl knows this.

 

Saturday:

 

We have never "hooked up" before. We sat and chatted sorta away from everyone else at a party for an hour or so, then we went ride around and listen to country music for three hours while killing a 16 pack of 8 oz. beers. I really had a good time and sorta was looking at her in a different light. At the end of the night while i was dropping her off i had enough liquid courage to express my interest i her, she said she was glad i said it and of course she was interested because she rode around with me all all that.

She goes on trip to D.C.

 

Monday:

 

I give her a call after about 6 beers and we chat for like thirty minutes.

 

Tuesday (today):

 

She calls me and during the call i ask when she is coming back. She tells me Thursday and she is not sure if she will stay this weekend in Baton Rouge or Ville Platte. I said i would be in Baton Rouge this weekend visiting some friends i hadnt seen in a while.

 

At this point was i supposed to ask her to do something this weekend?

it would seem no just letting them sit there, but in practice, yes. Its much warmer in your hand that in the box next to other beers. the one beer in your hand will be hotter than the ones in the box.

 

If you have forty ounces of beer total, a forty ouncer and five eight ouncers, holding the forty in your hand will make all forty ounces hotter than just holding that one eight ounce beer, the other thirty two ounces will be next to one another and get hotter slower.

You can't judge a couple based on age alone, so I would have to disagree with you on this one. I'm 24 and the BF is 31 and I am a whole lot more mature in many aspects of life then he is. Our maturity levels are different because who we sorround ourselves with and what we have choosen to focus on through out our lives. I do agree that the older you get you re-define who you are and what you want, but age isn't the main culprit of maturity, experiences and influences are.
