Read through the thread this morning. Yes there are problems with it all, but overall this story feels like it ended up less than what people were hoping for. I don't see either how people on the left or the right can declare this a win.
Also, it seems like from the thread that Taibbi posted that the reason the pictures were taken down was the nudity involved- which would be against Twitter standards. Also, it seems like the requests from the Biden team came in October of 2020- which he would've still been a private citizen at that point and not an elected government official. So in reality this is an issue between two private parties. That's not a crime. It's shady, it's underhanded, but not a crime nor a free speech violation. And honestly- if you want to open that can of worms then you have to acknowledge that the Trump White House requested things be removed while in power. That's problematic. Again- I don't know the criminality of it, but it's shady.
But I guess we got transparency of what some Twitter higher ups did....good I suppose. Now I guess we can just burn Twitter to the ground. That's be good too.
