So I did a little more research on the subject this morning. This kid winning was the first time a trans athlete has won any HS state championship. Also, because of privacy laws the exact numbers aren't known but estimates put the number of trans athletes competing at less than 100 nationwide in H.S. (I don't know if that includes former girls in boys sports). Leads me to a few conclusions. The first being this is being completely overblown as an issue. There are probably more trans threads on the board just this year than there are trans athletes. My 2nd conclusion is that being that number is so few, I wouldn't be opposed stopping the participation of trans-athletes until a workable equitable solution can be found. I'm not in favor of any discrimination, but I'm also not so strident that I think we need to change the rules to accommodate such a small group of people. IMO, this is really a non-issue being used to inflame conservatives. -
I guess we only want manifestos released when it's a trans shooter.

You are such a tard that you don't even know what you wrote: For the English-impaired, Tim is saying that iam90sbaby and I are both anti-trans bigots, but at least 90s is honest that it is because he finds trans gross, whereas I hide behind claims to science. You are probably one of those tards who also thinks that wanting to protect innocent unborn babies really means a desire to control women. This from the guy who gets indignant when people presume his motivations. First, do no harm. I want to protect children from unnecessary and permanent body mutilation. There is a social contagion going on, and Europe has already realized it. It's beginning to be addressed here. As I said before, you will find yourself on the wrong side of history, thousands of kids will be permanently and needlessly deformed, and you'll say "oh well, I listened to the lobbying organizations, it's not my fault for not thinking for myself." The short answer is that it’s not collected and no one is stupid enough to do it openly. When crime data is collected, it’s done via database obviously. Each crime that you claim has easily obtainable statistics, is derived from a specific statute at the state level, and collectively as “Homicide, “Larceny”, etc at the federal level. That’s why they are easily found. There is no “xxx crime by trans” statute that I’m aware of and there’s no “trans” checkbox. As far as perps go, unlike race and age, gender ID is not collected by UCR. Gender is, but it will be concluded by what’s on your ID. Even, if a female is recorded as a male, there’s no further differentiation that it’s a trans person. A police department would have to decide to track it on their own, and obviously that’s a political nightmare. Whether done secretly or openly, tracking gender ID would be met with significant outcry.

One doesn't have to dig to know that the percentage of trans who commit acts of violence is a really small percentage of the trans population (or someone would be posting those numbers and posting them regularly in the trans bashing treads in this forum).

Another way Gaines is bigoted is her insistence on calling trans girls “he.” You don’t even have to say “she,” just use their name, even only their last name. Insisting on saying “he” is just being a dbag because you feel like it. And if the response is “no one should have to participate in their mental illness,” then it’s acknowledging that this “cause” isn’t just about sports. -

YOU claimed that Gaines point was that girls/women, being forced to play against boys (hence, on the field), was akin to sexual abuse (heaven forbid I misquoted you, while the point still remained the same). YOUR assessment was based on a tweet that Gaines posted of a group picture of the girls softball team... it wasn't a quote. So, it was what YOU think, was the point she was making. I gave you an article stating what Gaines' argument on this topic has been... and it's never changed. It's about girls/women, being forced by the school/government/governing bodies, to be naked (showers), in front of naked men, being akin to sexual abuse. So, even though I proved you wrong... AND Gaines herself proved you wrong in that Fox show you noted, you still haven't admitted you were wrong. YOU claimed that Gaines was a bigot. Gaines has NEVER ONCE said that trans people should be ignored, she only said that they don't belong in women's sports. Now, I do believe she has said that they should have their own category, but I don't recall. I do KNOW that she never said to ignore them. So, there really is no reason for Biles to call out Gaines, at all, unless Biles is being the bigot. Gaines says men don't belong in women's sports. If Biles is ok with that, then I'm not surprised that is her stance, now that it doesn't directly affect her anymore (see Megan Rapinoe). If she doesn't, then she agrees with Gaines. So, why call her out? I'll tell you why, it's because she, like you in this thread, is being a little b!tch, and wants attention. Her objective is greed, ego, and vanity... to stay important for some post-gymnastics career. Again, odd that's her objective considering that's why she needed a "mental health" break during the Olympics. Yours seems to be a Napoleon Complex. She took the "L" because she knows she was wrong about the personal attacks towards Gaines and that she actually doesn't disagree with Gaines about boys/men not belonging in girls/women's sports. She apologized because she knows that the vast majority of the country agrees with Gaines. It's her attempt to pretend to stand up against conservative beliefs and come off as being morally superior. YOU are a fool for falling for it. -

I disagree, transsexuals and homosexuals are different, IMO. Trans = gender dysmorphia. Homosexual = sexually attracted to members of the same sex as you. Transwoman (man to woman) can still be sexually attracted to women if even they change their gender. It's not about sexual attraction to be trans, it's about you feeling like you were born the wrong gender. I have read that the LGB folks wish that the T's were never added to their alphabet. They've kind of ruined what it means to be 'gay' according to that crowd. -

The post Biles responded to said nothing about locker rooms. The post Gaines responded to Biles with said nothing about locker rooms. You’re just making sh1t up, and trying to back it up with year and a half old articles for some reason. Honestly I feel pretty confident in saying that even Gaines’ biggest issue with competing aging biological males anyway is the actual competing, not locker rooms (rightfully so). Are you saying if trans kids were provided separate locker rooms but still allowed to compete against girls, Gaines (and apparently you) would be okay with it? -

JFC Tim, trans was removed as mental illness because of FEELINGS. Literally. There was ZERO science involved. How can you not comprehend that and call this bullshat? ZERO science. Enough academics got enough power and said it wasn’t mental illness based on nothing but feelings. It was literally removed because of concerns over how trans people would be perceived, so they quit calling it mental illness. This is not my opinion, it’s literally the words of the American Psychiatry Association who writes the DSM. -
