    Hello, everyone. Had a full league just earlier today until I found out one of my players was going to be out of the country at the worst possible time -- football time. So I need a manager to replace him. League Features: 8-Teams, 2 Divisions, Head-to-Head PPR, Weighted Scheduling (10 In-Division Games), Draft Order Determined By Prior Year's Results, Career W/L Records and Other Stats Kept (3rd-Party Website Under Construction for Better Displaying This Information). A Note on Scoring: The points system works out such that a good projection for a player (non-kicker) in a given week is 20 points. A great projection would be 25 or more. An average projection would be 15. Season projections for usable players typically range from 250 to 350. For your team, 200-pt weeks and 2,000-pt seasons are impressive milestones. In a given week, a good projection would be 140 points, with 130 being average and 150 being exceptional. Rosters consist of a QB-WR-WR-RB-TE-W/R-K-DEF. League History: The league, in its current incarnation, is entering its 11th season (we hope). The people we have in our league love the game and never miss a lineup.     Who to keep? 10 team, 0.5 PPR , all TDs are 6 points. start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE I lose the round where player was drafted, in previous year. Note, through trades i do not have a 3rd round pick this year. I have the eighth pick in redraft this year. D. Hopkins lose 4th round A. Robinson lose 6th round T.     I have openings in two one Total Points Leagues (see post #2 below), where each week everybody plays everybody else and the week-to-week luck factor is greatly diminished. The two leagues are starting their 5th year and are clones (scoring, bylaws, etc. are all the same). The only difference is the date of the online draft. Most owners, but not all, are in both leagues. In Summary: 4Aces FFL Annual Redraft, 12 Franchises, $55 per Franchise. PPR, 15 player roster, 8 starters, 1-QB, 1-PK, 1-DT, 5-Flex (RB, WR, TE). On-line, live draft in the MFL draft-room that happens all at once, taking 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Draft scheduled start, the Monday BEFORE the first NFL Regular Season game, 8:00 PM ET. Total Points League - for regular season (weeks 1-13) AND playoffs (weeks 14-17). All points are reset to zero after week 13, and Playoff Team Performance Bonus points are added. Top 5 Franchise's make the playoffs, bottom 7 play for Consolation Bowl payout. 100% Payout, less MFL fee to Super Bowl winner (~$350), Runner-up ($100), 3rd place ($50) and Consolation ($50). If you are looking for a new FFB challenge, ask yourself, have you ever been in a H2H league where every week it seemed like you came up against the high score team? You had one of the highest point's totals in the league, but didnt even make the playoffs? Ever been in a Division where there were several good teams while other Divisions had teams that sucked? Still didn't make the playoffs? Ever have noncompetitive owners run a fire-sale trade to get key keepers for next year? Did that hurt your playoff chances? Well, if you answered yes to any of those, you find one or both of these leagues a better fit. Reluctant because these are not LeagueSafe leagues? I understand completely. It is hard to know who to trust. We used LeagueSafe the first three years just for the reason you express. All the owners felt LeagueSafe was too big of a hassle to deal with and coupled with the fees they charge to the winners, almost all owners wanted to go to direct pay. Read the Message Board posts and the League articles. I suspect, but don't know, that is not something you find in most rip-off league offers. In the end, its your call, and either way I do understand any reluctance.     We've got 20+ teams together to start an English Premier League style Dynasty startup. The first year, every team will be at the same level. Subsequent years, the league will be split into 16 team tiers with the Premier League at the top. At the end of each season, the bottom four teams will be relegated to the tier below. The top three or four teams will be promoted to the tier above. We'll also have an FA Cup tournament that runs during the regular season. Every team will compete in the FA Cup. The winner of the FA Cup will get automatic promotion to the Premier League. We need at least 32 teams to start so in Year 2, we'll have two tiers. That said, for a 32 team league, we need to start our draft by the end of July. If we have enough interest quickly, we could push for 48 teams to start. A 48 team league would need to start the draft by mid-July. There will be (1) copy of every play for each (16) teams, so 32 teams = 2 copies, 48 teams = 3 copies, etc. Each team can only hold 1 copy of a player. Every offseason, we can add another 16 team tier. The new tier will have their own draft of (1) copy of every player, rookies and veterans, and they will become the bottom tier of the overall league. We'll continue adding tiers until either we get to the 96 team MFL limit or the league collectively decides we're large enough. The entire league will be one large MFL league. When the league is split into tiers, the tiers will be different conferences that won't play each other outside the FA Cup. That said, trading between the tiers will be allowed. Draft pick trading will be allowed. The Rookie draft order will be set up to promote vertical mobility. The lowest tier will get the first 16 draft picks. The Premier League will get the last 16 draft picks. Scoring will be PPR and TE Premium with .25 points per carry. 50 man rosters with several IR spots and a Taxi Squad. Starters are: (1) QB (2) RB (3) WR (1) TE (1) RB/WR/TE Flex (1) QB/RB/WR/TE Flex (1) DT (2) DE (3) LB (2) CB (2) S (1) DT/DE/LB/CB/S Flex The League will be $50 buy-in, LeagueSafe. We're still tweaking the payout structure, but obviously, the bigger this whole thing gets, the more enjoyable it will be for the Premier League winner every year. The 1st and 2nd place in each tier will win a prize, as will the winner of the FA Cup. Once the league gets up to 48 teams, everyone in the Premier League at the end of the season will win $50 as an incentive to stay at the top. Obviously, we're looking for people who are in it for the long haul. If you drop to the bottom tier, it could take a couple years to get back to the top.
