    Fantasy Football TradeMachine

Hi there! I hate shameless self promotion, but with my brother we made this App thinking about people like us (those who love fantasy football). We spent the last few months working on Fantasy Football TradeMachine, the first App that will rate your fantasy football trades. The App is easy to use: select your League scoring format, select the players involved in the trade (you can choose all players, included Draft Picks) and the APP will tell you if the trade is AWFUL, BAD, EQUAL, GOOD or AWESOME for your team. You can try ALL the trades that you want. The value of the trade is determined by an algorithm, updated every single week. The download is cheap, less than $2 (a starbucks coffee). Why this price? 1. Unfortunately development and server cost tons of money, and we’re normal people working 9-5 2. We could’ve made an elite thing, with some rankings and making money by subscription per month maybe 10 dollar per month (like many do), but we don’t care about making cash, but doing something cool to reach as many people as possible. And all of you can afford something that cost less than a Starbucks coffee Please feel free to share your thoughts, ideas or feedback, it’d be much appreciated!! We want to build and improve something useful and nice for you. Please join our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fantasyfootballtrademachine/ DOWNLOAD IOS: https://apple.co/2uLnKxo DOWNLOAD ANDROID: https://bit.ly/2LuJNQ7 Thank you!

  11. Four seasons remain under the current labor deal, but the drums of labor war already are beating. I think that the likelihood of either a strike or a lockout in 2021 is almost a virtual certainty, NFL Players Association DeMaurice Smith recently told Albert Breer in a video posted at SI.com. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/08/17/de-smith-lockout-or-strike-in-2021-is-almost-a-virtual-certainty/
  12. We are just days away from Super Bowl LI (51), but already we are looking for 4 or 5 new owners to play in our leagues for the coming 2017 season. We are a combination IDP/Keeper league system so we will get started in 2017 a little earlier than most. The key with our community is finding good over all people to join the group. People who are excited about good competition, innovative league design, and an all around experience. The trouble with 80 to 90 percent of the leagues out there is they lack any real activity and they are beholden on luck driven results primarily. One or two injuries in those leagues sink you. As a result, most serious players choose to join 9 or 10 leagues to make sure they can dodge the luck bullet. Lucky for us we have been designing models and keeping ahead of the proverbial fantasy curve for many years. We feel we have cured those issues to the point of mere insignificance. What makes us unique is our combination of our custom designed fantasy leagues, private DFS contests, radio shows, writing content, unique league formulas, and scheduling formats. Our single entry private DFS contests every Sunday are designed for only our people. Meaning you must be an owner in MLFS leagues–Real Deal Dynasty Leagues— a writer, an editor, or a radio guest to get an invite. The key to our DFS contests is that we know everyone who will play, and that they will only play a “single” entry. Usually $10 or $20 a week and it’s totally voluntary. The pay scale in the DFS contests is normally 15-20% paid out depending on how many people play. Major League Fantasy Sports has a staff of six football writers and we run our own live public call-in radio shows every Sunday morning from 11-12:45pm EST. We will provide in-depth offensive and IDP rankings during training camp, along with team by team break-downs to help you prepare to draft. During the season our writing staff will break down waiver wire claims as well as spot starts for QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, DSTs, and IDPs. Our radio show will break down traditional football info, handicapping with EJ Garr of getmoresports.com, low-cost DFS plays, and weekly season-long spot starts on offense and defense. Every person that joins our community is vetted to ascertain the plausibility of joining our great community. Basically, we want to know if you are a good fit for us and vice versa. You can always call me directly. My personal information will be listed below the contact form. Finally, if you are an aspiring writer and are looking for an opportunity to write about what you love, we are looking for two more writers to join our staff in 2017. If interested, please leave your information on the form below. COREY D ROBERTS MAJOR LEAGUE FANTASY SPORTS OWNER 317.603.9434 Mobile majorleaguefantasysports@gmail.com

CBS worth $150 or move to FREE?

So I've been on CBS since 1999. Paying $150 in a $300 entry, 10-team league (bringing payout $ down to $2850) seems absurd. Help me out - is it worth $15 per team or is it time to move on? I don't care about our "history"--if it's a comparable product, I think that $150 is better spent on prize money. Thoughts? More importantly, where to go? I'm the commissioner. Thanks.

    The All Time Undrafted Team

And my boy Tony takes so much crap. "While Romo gets unfairly criticized, here are the qualified players in NFL history with a better passer rating: Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson. That’s it. Romo is third. The next three? Steve Young, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady. Romo has had a fantastic career, and he edges Moon and Warner to top this list." 5 Great RB Matchups for Week 2

Week 1 was led by Le'Veon Bell's 19.85 fantasy points thanks to 197 total yards, and a TD. Marshawn Lynch (19.70), Mark Ingram (15.55) and Isaiah Crowell (13.60) were the only RBs with multi TD days. We highlighted 5 RBs we thought had bad matchups last week, and here are the results: Eddie Lacy - 3.75 fantasy points Suffered a concussion, gained just 34 yards on 11 carries and added 3 catches for 11 yards. James Starks finished the game. DeMarco Murray - 13.65 Murray had a nice game against the Niners, rushing for 118 yards on 22 carries, scoring a touchdown. He added 3 catches for 25 yards. His TD came with the Cowboys down 25 in the 3rd quarter. Giovani Bernard - 8.50 The Bengals entered halftime with a 15-0 lead thanks to 5 Mike Nugent FGs. Bernard finished the game with just 14 carries for 48 yards adding 6 catches for 62 yards. Jeremy Hill only took 4 carries away from Gio. Doug Martin - 1.30 Martin left the game for a little with an injury, led the team with 9 carries, but gained just 9 yards! Bobby Rainey filled in with 4 carries for 12 yards, but caught a TD from Josh McCown. Rashad Jennings - 12.80 Jennings gained just 46 yards on 12 carries, but managed to score a goalline TD. He added 4 receptions for 50 yards. Jamaal Charles is projected to get the most points this week (11.93), but a matchup with this new Denver Broncos defense is not appealing to me, especially the way the Kansas City Chiefs offense operating in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. LeSean McCoy @ Indianapolis Colts (11.22 projected fantasy points) Darren Sproles saw 11 carries to McCoy's 21, which is NOT a number fantasy owners like, unless of course your own Sproles and not McCoy. Each back saw 6 targets. The Colts defense is not good, yet held Montee Ball to just 2.6 yards per carry. He did score a TD. The Eagles scored 34 points in the 2nd half of their strange win over the Jaguars, and an offense like that vs this defense is a dream come true for fantasy owners! Adrian Peterson vs New England Patriots (11.61) Peterson was outdone by his own teammate, Cordarrelle Patterson, who rushed for 102 yards (67 long), in a Week 1 matchup with the St. Louis Rams. Minnesota dominated St. Louis, but Peterson averaged just 3.6 yards per carry. The Pats are coming off a loss to the Dolphins in which they allowed Knowshon Moreno and Lamar Miller to each score a TD and saw Moreno average 5.6 yards per carry on 24 attempts. Could be a big week for AD. Giovani Bernard vs Atlanta Falcons (10.56) As mentioned above Mark Ingram rushed for 2 scores in Week 1, and that was against the Falcons. Khiry Robinson also rushed for a TD in that game and the New Orleans Saints backfield picked up 119 yards on 26 carries. We just have to pray the Bengals give Gio more than 20 carries this week! Arian Foster @ Oakland Raiders (10.42) Foster took 27 handoffs from Ryan Fitzpatrick in Week 1 against the Washington Redskins, gained 103 yards, but failed to score. The Raiders allowed 170 rushing yards (71 long by Chris Ivory) to Chris Johnson and Ivory of the New York Jets on just 23 carries last week , so things are looking up for Foster in Week 2. Knowshon Moreno (7.25) / Lamar Miller @ Buffalo Bills (5.16) The Bills are coming off a HUGE win over the Chicago Bears in Chicago, but Matt Forte totaled 169 totaled yards, and caught 8 passes out of the backfield. He failed to score a TD, but was still very productive.and finished as the 10th RB in Week 1. Moreno and Miller are coming off huge games against the New England Patriots, and when the Dolphins Lazor version of the Eagles Kelly offense was clicking, they moved the ball with ease. Moreno took 24 handoffs vs Miller's 11, but Miller caught 4 of his 5 targets, one for a TD, while Moreno was not involved in the pass attack. Rushing Yards - 20 yards per point 1 points at 100 yards 1.5 points at 150 yards 2 points at 200 yards Rushing Touchdowns - 6 .5 PPR Reception Yards - 20 yards per point Reception Touchdowns - 6

Official ESPN Week 1 Rankings Posted

ESPN Rankings from Berry, Harris, Karabell and Cockroft Anyone else think Carson Palmer at QB16 is a little low against the Chargers? Cam Newton at 13 too high....Russell Wilson at 8? Emmanuel Sanders jumps up to WR12 Antonio Gates and Ladarius Green ranked ahead of Travis Kelce...boooo

5 Worst Week 1 RB Matchups

Obviously there are worse matchups for some RBs, but these will have the biggest impact on fantasy football no? Eddie Lacy - Seahawks DeMarco Murray - Niners Doug Martin - Panthers Gio Bernard - Ravens Rashad Jennings - Lions EDIT - Jennings replaces Peterson. AP vs Rams is not as bad as I initially thought, thanks for insight. They allowed 6th most fantasy points per game to RBs. Can you think of a RB picked in the 1st 5 rounds with a worse matchup to start the season?
  21. @WeTlkFntsySprts

    Bill O'Brien's Impact on Texans

He turned Allen Robinson into a 2nd round draft pick of the Jags, and his QB Matt McGloin started 6 games for the Raiders last season. Not to mention what he did with Aaron Hernandez and Gronk back in his Patriots days. How much will he impact the development of DeAndre Hopkins, and specifically this fantasy season! Also, do you picture Fitzpatrick starting 10+ games?

    Fav QB Week 1

ESPN Gridiron Challenge has a format that eliminates players after you use them. Which QB do you like for Week 1? Nick Foles | JAC | 40.5% owned Peyton Manning | IND | 10.6 Colin Kaepernick | @DAL | 8.9 Jay Cutler | BUF | 8.3 Matthew Stafford | NYG | 6.2 Drew Brees | @ATL | 2.9 Tom Brady | @MIA | 2.6 Alex Smith | TEN | 2.6 Matt Ryan | NOR | 2.4 Sam Bradford | MIN | 1.7 Robert Griffin III | @HOU | 1.7 Geno Smith | OAK | 1.6 Carson Palmer | SDG | 1.5 Andrew Luck | @DEN | 1.3 Philip Rivers | @ARI | 1.1 Cam Newton | @TAM | 1 Ben Roethlisberger | CLE | 0.9 I am leaning towards Carson Palmer against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football. Larry Fitzgerald, and Michael Floyd will give the Bolts corners problems and Andre Ellington can catch passes out of the backfield. Rookie CB Jason Verrett is dealing with a shoulder injury, and the Chargers did little to bolster the 4th worst secondary in the NFL. Right now 40.5% of the nation is taking Foles as their Week 1 starter. Sure the Eagles will most likely destroy the Jags, but it's important to remember that the Eagles have LeSean McCoy, who led Philly to the top of the league in rushing yards. Philly was 27th in the league in passing attempts per game. Foles attempted 30+ passes in just 3 games and eclipsed 300 yards just twice.

    Jason Campbell > Drew Brees

I like how the flag was thrown for Drew Brees getting hit in the shoulder (Or Neck whichever way you see it) But, Jason Campbell gets annihilated by the Steelers defender and no question it was all head. No flag was thrown at all! Just a way to show yes the NFL is trying to protect the QB's. But, if your name isn't Brees, Manning, Brady, etc. Then they really aren't trying to protect you they only want to protect the big names that make them money. in the end its all about money, not the safety of players. Good job Goodell!!!
