  1. Hello, everyone. Had a full league just earlier today until I found out one of my players was going to be out of the country at the worst possible time -- football time. So I need a manager to replace him. League Features: 8-Teams, 2 Divisions, Head-to-Head PPR, Weighted Scheduling (10 In-Division Games), Draft Order Determined By Prior Year's Results, Career W/L Records and Other Stats Kept (3rd-Party Website Under Construction for Better Displaying This Information). A Note on Scoring: The points system works out such that a good projection for a player (non-kicker) in a given week is 20 points. A great projection would be 25 or more. An average projection would be 15. Season projections for usable players typically range from 250 to 350. For your team, 200-pt weeks and 2,000-pt seasons are impressive milestones. In a given week, a good projection would be 140 points, with 130 being average and 150 being exceptional. Rosters consist of a QB-WR-WR-RB-TE-W/R-K-DEF. League History: The league, in its current incarnation, is entering its 11th season (we hope). The people we have in our league love the game and never miss a lineup. So if you're looking for a league that you can play in for years to come with people that enjoy it as much as you do, then send me an e-mail at PetePeeves@yahoo.com and helps us friendless people (apparently) keep it going! Draft will occur on Sept. 3rd (Saturday) at 4 pm Eastern.

  3. The ‘NCAA Fantasy League’ is a 90-team, seven conference league that was set up to mirror the NCAA. The AAC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Mountain West, PAC 12 and SEC Conferences are used and each will use their own player universe. You must sign up for both the basketball team and the football team. To explain a bit further, let’s use the ACC as an example. Your team is the North Carolina Tar Heels. You own a football team and a basketball team and will be competing against 89 other owners for the title. You could draft Antonio Brown in football and Steph Curry in basketball and you would be the only team to own that pair of players in your conference; however, a team in the AAC, Big 10, Big 12, Mountain West, PAC 12 and SEC could (and should) also own them. You might be wondering how that can work if you are competing against everyone for a championship… Let me explain… Each sport will feature nonconference, conference and then postseason games. In the nonconference or postseason, your team (which owns Brown and Curry) might face a team that has the same players. But, the rest of the players on the team will be different and will make the difference in the final score. The chances of owners having the exact same teams are slim to none as we will hold inaugural offline drafts to start both the fantasy basketball and football leagues. Speaking of the draft, the order for each conference has already been randomized and will be posted when the league is completely filled. Each conference will then start their own draft and draft until their teams are filled. (Trades are allowed within your conference and during the inaugural draft, but it must be an even trade… ex- 1 pick for 1 pick, 1 pick and 1 player for two picks, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 and so on) Once the drafts are complete, you are free to continue trading until the deadline in each sport. On any trades after the inaugural draft, the entire league will have a day to vote; if the trade is over 67% objected, the trade will be vetoed and the owners will have to rework the deal. This league is a keeper league, meaning we will hold players from year to year. You must own at least 10 players in football and 12 in basketball to start. You can own up to 15 players in football and 15 in basketball to start. With each year that passes, there will be additional roster spots in each sport to hold rookies. A 2-round rookie draft in each sport will be held in the offseason. Roster Setup- Football- 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/2FLEX/1K/1D,ST Basketball-1PG/1SG/1SF/1PF/1C/7FLEX The league is run through Fantrax and will require a $0.79 fee in both sports, so $1.78 total. There will be no contracts or salaries. There will be no payouts or additional fees. The NCAA-theme has its effect on the conferences (divisions) and schedules, but it also mays a major role in the postseason. For football, there will be conference championships and bowls games; for basketball, a conference tournament, NIT Tournament and NCAA Tournament. There is going to be a committee that helps in deciding what teams deserve to play in what bowl game or be ranked at a certain seed. There is a sign up list posted on the league home page for that job and many others if you are looking to get involved with the league. The league website is http://ncaafantasyleague.proboards.com/ and this is where a lot of the league content will be posted. Trading blocks will be posted here. Any league news or polls, league history and completed trades will be posted there. There is also a chat box and links to everything needed in the league from that link. Here is a list of available teams: AAC- Cincinnati, Connecticut, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, SMU, South Florida, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa ACC- Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest BIG 10- Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers BIG 12- Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, West Virginia MWC- Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Jose State, Wyoming PAC 12- Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington SEC- Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt If interested in signing up, visit: http://ncaafantasyleague.proboards.com/thread/73/post-application
  4. The NCAA Fantasy League is a 90-team league with a NCAA theme to it. There are 7 divisions and matching conferences for both basketball and football. While it is NCAA themed, this will be professional fantasy sports in NBA and NFL. The league will include: Top 25/custom schedule making/NCAA Tournament/Bowl Games/rookie drafts each season. This is a keeper league (all players will be retained from year to year. For anymore information, please visit:http://ncaafantasyleague.proboards.com/ or ask on here. If interested, make sure you make an account and then sign up (first tab on proboards) Please be sure to take a look over the league, reading whatever posts you can find before joining. 6. 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1 TM Totals Do you think you have what it takes to build a dynasty? If you are an active football geek who loves to make trades and talk X'S AND O'S all year long this is the place for you. It's all about the pride and competition. 20 total players per team. 8 starters, 12 bench. 16 keepers. click Here for scoring rules. Right now the draft is set for Sat. June 6th starting at 10 AM. I plan on setting what is known as a "Slow Draft" or "E-Mail Draft" mostly because we will have the ability to trade draft picks during our draft. You may not like the randomly selected spot you have been given so this will give you an opportunity to trade it to other owners who may want it. I will NOT be holding multiple drafts. The rookies will be included in this year's draft. The draft will start shortly after the actual rookie NFL draft takes place. The NFL Draft ends on May 2. As soon as rookies become a part of the player pool we can start the email draft. Unfortunately, the draft setting can not be made right away b/c the email draft launches as soon as I click the button for the changeover. What is a slow draft (E-mail draft)?A slow draft (or E-mail draft) is when owners sign on to the site and select players at their own pace through the players tab.In slow drafts, owners can take as little or as much time as they would like to make a selection. There is an unlimited amount of time to make picks with no timer in place. If you are opted in to receive an alert, an E-mail alert notifies you who is chosen and when it is your turn in relation to the last pick made. Can I trade during a slow draft?Yes, you may trade draft picks and players during the slow draft. Can I impose a time limit on selections during a slow draft? There is no way to configure time limits (we're working on it). But your league can impose informal limits to be enforced by the commissioner.**I will be proposing a 6 hr window for making your picks. I will also be pausing the draft at midnight through 8 AM EST so that I can get some sleep. Please send your email info for and invite. Serious inquiries only. Hope to see you on the gridiron! Thanks, -Kevin

  10. Rank all 12 NFL teams competing in the NFL Playoffs from strongest (12 points) to weakest (1 point). All picks must be in before the first playoff game starts and cannot be changed once the games are underway. Members are awarded the number of points assigned to an NFL team when that team wins. Here are some more details about the playoff pool... what you will do is rank the 12 teams from 12-1. 12 being the highest, 1 the lowest. Whatever you rank your team that is the amount of points they get if they win. For example, if the colts win, and you ranked them 10, they get 10 points. Every time they win and move on they get 10 points. You rank once and only once. If a team you ranked loses, they are just out and your rankings stay the same and you only get points for the winning teams. Teams with bye weeks do not get points that week. So you have to be strategic in your initial ranking as it again, is the only time you will rank and that will decide your points throughout the playoffs. If we get enough people and a big enough pot, I would like to do 50/30/10. But if we do not then it will be winner take all. The tie decision is made by final score total points of the super bowl, which when you rank, you will plug those in as well. We only have until Saturday by start of the 1st game to get everyone joined and playing.. So, please do not wait until the last minute. $30 to join. No buying back, just solid $30 to play. You can create 3 teams each at $30 a team. Spread the word all and many are welcome. **************************************************************** Instructions for joining the pool entitled 'TK Playoff Pool' **************************************************************** I recently set up an online NFL Playoff Power Ranking Pool at RunYourPool.com. 13. Noon today is the deadline... get your picks locked in... don't miss out on this challenging pool.. you all talk the talk on the forums, but can you put your $$ where your mouth is? Clock is ticking... What is an NFL Confidence Pool? Picks are made "straight up", not using a point spread system. Each pool member picks every NFL game for the week. In addition to picking the winning team, members must rank how confident they are that the team they picked will win. The more points assigned to a pick, the more confident they are that team will win. For each correct pick, they receive the number of points they assigned to that pick. Standings are calculated for the week and for the year-to-date. It will be a simple pool, $30 one time entry fee since this is the 1st season of doing it. The pay out will be at the end of the season 50/20/10. The final 20% will be divided evenly throughout the season to the winners according to the weekly standings. Ties are a win and ties will be broken by MNF total points. **************************************************************** Instructions for joining the pool entitled 'TK' **************************************************************** I recently set up an online NFL Confidence Pool at RunYourPool.com. 14. Buy backs = more $$... Don't miss out.. week 1 is quickly approaching... $20 to enter. Each week you pick 1 team. Once you pick a team you can never pick them again the rest of the season. Except playoffs. If your team for the week wins, you move on to the next week.. you do not have to pay again if you keep winning... but if your team loses, you will be out of the pool all together, UNLESS you buy back in for another $20 (each time). You can buy back in up until week 6 which means, after week 6, if you lose, you are out, no more buying back in. A revival pool ($5) will start come week 6 for losers and anyone else. If you do not get your picks in on time for the week, the website will automatically choose the LOWEST RANKING team as your pick for you. Deadline for joining will be start of game time week 1. This will go on week after week until we have a LAST MAN STANDING... 1 person will get the jackpot. If for some reason there is a tie by the end, the 2 can decide to continue on or split the pot. BUT, if there are 3 or more.. no splitting pot.. gotta go on.. max 3 teams per player, $20 per team. Tie is a win. **************************************************************** Instructions for joining the pool entitled 'TK' **************************************************************** I recently set up an online NFL Survivor Pool at runyourpool.com. 20. Hometown Dynasty League (HDL) is a Fantasy Sports Network designed to give managers a chance to take a special interest in their teams based on the city they represent. All HDL managers will participate in fantasy leagues for the major four U.S. sports: Football, Basketball, Hockey, and Baseball. There is a unique points system in place to generate overall standings across all four leagues. All leagues will be run through Yahoo. Each manager will represent the same city in all four leagues. The major catch to HDL is that you must maintain a required number of players from your hometown city for each sport. For example, the “Chicago” team must have six Chicago Bears’ players on their roster at all times in the Football league. This “Chicago” team would also have to do the same with the Bulls, Blackhawks, and Cubs/White Sox in their respective leagues. The hometown player requirement number for each sport is different based on the roster size. Starting in August 2013 for the 2013-’14 NFL Season, HDL will officially begin with four 12-team Football leagues and a 16-team Champions League that will start the following year. The Champions League will have money ($$$) involved, while the regular HDL leagues will be free. The Champions League will be comprised of the top 4 finishers from each of the original four leagues. All leagues will run for one calendar year to cover all four major sports. The following Football season will mark the start of Year Two when any promotions to the Champions League will take place. If you are interested, please contact hometowndynastyleague@yahoo.com or visit us on Facebook and “Like” our page and message us (www.facebook.com/hometowndynastyleague). Reserve your hometown team ASAP. All 23 available Hometown Team combinations can be found on our Facebook page. As of 7/8/13: 24/48 Teams Taken - 24 Teams Still Needed Hometown City Totals (so far - once a city reaches 4 then they are unavailable to be picked) 4 - Chicago 3 - Philadelphia 2 - Boston, Washington, Toronto, Detroit, Philadelphia 1 - Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Colorado, Wisconsin, Carolina 0 - Arizona, Cleveland, Minnesota, San Francisco, Oakland, Tampa Bay, Miami, St. Louis
