donhaas 18 Posted October 27, 2005 so let's talk about now: who are you? and where is your team? exactly. Sampdog says this when he is thoroughly owned. Let's get this straight: If you're team is currently doing poorly you have no right to call out a pyscho stalkers contradictions and delusions??? If losing teams can't comment on football, then explain your existence for the last 45 years ....and counting I have yet to see a prediction on this game out of Sampdog, too. :chicken: Detroit is at home. They have a better quarterback now. I'll wager a one month ban on the "crappy" Chicago team What says Sampdog????
Sweetness_34 0 Posted October 27, 2005 For Detroit to win they will have to play over their heads, and need some key backups to continue performing well. Two good defenses and struglling offenses. I like the Lions takeway ability, but losing Bly is a crushing blow. Overall Chicago is a fundamentally better team. There are some intangibles leaning in Motowns favor - Garcia's first home game, more upside to lil' Jeff than Orton - but in this kind of game I want a 25 carry wear em down back. Hello, TJ - ready for your 6th straight good game? yeah. oh, and the minor intangible that the bears haven't won a road game in a year and have a total of 5 since 2001 yep. the bears are vastly superior and no doubt the lions will have to play "so far over their heads" that their nose bleed for a week in order to have even a remote chance of winning. What does the Bears road record for the past 10 games have to do with this game? You are so clueless....this Bears team is not the same as every Bears team for each of those road games is it? The Bears lost to the Browns and Redskins on the road this year....both games they should have won, but lost by their own mistakes...they were the better team in both of those games. swirvenirvin 25 Posted October 27, 2005 38-6 B!TCHES!! How you like them apples??? Til you beat us: a. you don't start a thread and NOT expect bears fans to slam the pussycats. b. Don't say chit because you got worked not 3 weeks ago. c. Will refer to da Bears as the "division leading Bears". Detroit still sucks. The Lions have no team discipline. They've wasted 3 straight 1st rd draft picks and still can't throw the ball for chit. I'll be back Sunday night. Bank on it. Up your a$$es with the 3 points. Thats simply because you all are at home. We should be favored by 32 the way i see it. 38-6!!! 38-6!!! 38-6!!! You're that guy in the Bears jersey that sits two rows down from me that I consistently nail in the back of the head with peanuts the whole game. At least you sound like him......I don't blame you though---you only have 2 more days of glory. yep sounds like the pr1ck that gets his ass kicked at the games in the upper bowl
Sweetness_34 0 Posted October 27, 2005 No doubt Chicago is the far better team. Better defense, better running game, better special teams, better OL and better coaching. And the QB situation is not that different either (with Suckington in there, Orton was the better QB....now with Garcia, it is at least very much similar). IF Det wins, it will only be because the Bears lost it with some turnovers or mental mistakes. see above. you are the reason snl is so funny. but you come across as very bitter most of the time. more angry than happy when talking about the bears and the lions. did joey ballgame steal your girlfriend? or maybe you're a cub fan pissed off and jealous of the white sox? either way, stop projecting. and nice of you to already start spinning the losing spin. you'll be here on sunday night when the bears lose biatching because the "vastly superior" bears "let" the lions win. predictable newsflash: when a team losses it losses. a loss is a loss. i wasn't here making excuses for the lions in week 2...and here you are positioning yourself to take the whiny excuse machine and the game hasn't even been played yet. Dipshit I am both a Sox and Cubs fan....go read some of the baseball posts in here. Moron.

swamp dog 0 Posted October 27, 2005 yeah. oh, and the minor intangible that the bears haven't won a road game in a year and have a total of 5 since 2001 How many do the Lions have in that timespan? Ill give you a hit...it was fewer than the Bears. And what was it about past performance and the future? Oh wait, it is you trying to use past performance so it must mean something. if the lions were playing on the road against the bears this week, i wouldn't have them favored, either so let's talk about now: who are you? and where is your team? exactly. Ahh...that is your response to your inaccurate use of historic numbers when they fit your arguement but bemoaning them when they work against you? Where is my team? Thats all you got? And I was not saying the Lions were on the road, I found it funny you would laugh and put a smiley after that comment about the Bears on the road given the Lions record on the road in the past few years is much worse. my numbers weren't inaccurate: 1) the bears haven't won a road game since last november and they have 5 total since 2001. 2) you brought up the lions road record. i correctly pointed out that that is invalid to this week's game: the lions are at home and the bears are on the road. if the lions were on the road at chi this week i wouldn't be predicting a lion blowout like all of these delusional bear fans. keep spinning away. i understand you wanting to participate, as the packers will not play in a meaningful game the rest of the season, but stop the idiocy. 1..Sorry, brainfart...meant inconsistent...or as it is known here...typical swamp dog. 2..I brought it up because it is funny you would mention the bear's road troubles and add a laughing smilie when the Lion's is worse. Spin? What spin...you state the past performance...blah blah blah...then you bring it up when you see fit or if it fits into your arguement. You are nothing but a hypocrite and it is way too easy to point that out anymore. Idiocy? Yeah...I guess it is idiotic to keep pointing out your obvious delusion. Funny you would also talk about me wanting to "participate"...as if you ever stay out of a thread that has little to nothing to do with your Lions. swamp dog 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Bears 16Cats 9 Defence dominates the Det O and TJ runs hard all day against a DLine that will miss Rogers and a secondary that will miss Bly. Home or away doesnt matter. Games are won in the trenches and Det is overmatched on both sides of the ball. i love how the lions have bly out and suddenly their defense--facing orton, a rookie who care barely keep from fumbling a shot glass--suddenly goes from being top-7 to bottom of the league are you drunk at your conference, walt? the bears aren't marching into detroit with fockhead orton and "dominating" the lions. yeah, save this focking post. swamp dog 0 Posted October 27, 2005 interesting: the bears have played 4 games at home so far this year and have only had to play 2 on the road so far. how nice! when they've played on the road they lost both games and their vaunted defense has had two meltdowns. 1) @ washington: the redskins gouged the bears on the ground 2) @cleveland: dilfer lights up their secondary like a christmas tree in the fourth quarter (and i distinctly remember a lot bear fans ready to jump off cliffs after that game...my, how quickly things change). don't be shocked if the lions have good success either running the ball sunday or passing the ball. not only is it obviously apparent WHY the lions are favored in this game, i will go so far as to say that once the bears have to start paying the piper and playing more games on the road there record will reflect it--and the defense will falter a bit in the rankings. but (rats!) i keep forgetting bly is out! the bears will obviously blow the lions out now!!!! and schlesinger being back means that there will at least be a couple of plays where urlacher will get knocked back on his azz. This week look for their chemisty to continue to improve, as KJ has his best game thus far and Garcia perfects play action passes to BMW and Pollard. Detroit-17 Chicago-3, just like GB baby! The Bears did win in Detoilet last year....the refs decided to throw a bone the lydown way since so many lydown fans were on the ledge with their stellar 50+ years of futility What a joke! swamp dog 0 Posted October 28, 2005 and you're willing to bet money and take money out of your family's mouth and give it to some internet stranger you've never met? who cares about ballz? that's focking stupid. but a lesson for you: i bet no money on any sporting events. ever. i don't play the lotto. i don't visit casinos. you want to do that, go for it. but maybe i should change because dumhass is giving peer pressure. how will i live if an internet stranger makes fun of me??!!! now shoo. you're done here. Don't get all emotional on me. You bet something of substance: a weeks ban; a months ban from this site. Bet something that means something if you really believe what you say. If you don't believe what you say, write "Detroit is gay" at the bottom of your two posts you'll make after they lose I don't like the Bears and I definitely don't want to root for them, but I was extremely confident that you would fold like a gigantic poosay on my bluff... because you talk like crazy but you obviously don't believe what you say. HTH!!! we have a month ban sig bet: mike versus fergie. i have no trouble making the appropriate bet with sweetmeat, drj, or walt for this game. what part of that don't you get? i will make a bet on this game--but not with a focking cheesehead. now go find a bengal fan to make a bet with on your game. but you won't. know why? because you know the packers are going to get their focking sorry azzes handed to them. You don't make bets with cheesheads? Since when? If you believed one single word you've said, you'd make the bet in a second. But, alas, SDIAFP. And Williams vs. Fergie is another side of your pooseyness. I've bumped Fergie and Williams all season long and didn't get one single peep from you when Fergie was dominating him. I think you were hoping I would forget. Now Williams has become the #1 receiver because of injuries and Fergie is out for a month and you're all of a sudden the internet tough guy. Ra roh! Silly Sampdog. You're a funny dude. An incredible poosay, but a funny, delusional dude nonetheless. I hope one of these Bears fans calls you out to see what your next poosay excuse is. Sho Nuff 720 Posted October 28, 2005 i hear someone talking (looks down to ground and all around)...sounds muffled. can't quite make it out. must be cause they're yelling in the cellar again. Ahhh...denial...quite a disease...right up there with your delusion...
CantTouchThis 23 Posted October 28, 2005 It's going to be a good game dispite what people think. This is a key game in that division, the biggest game for either team this season. I think Detroit's offense gets on track with Jeff at the helm, and squeaks out a win... 17-14 Detroit. Thomas jones will tear it up like usual. Garcia will have a solid game, and Rogers will have a good coming back game with 90 yards and a touch.
DrJ 0 Posted October 28, 2005 Da Bears will kick the lions arses because they are a better team. But it will be a little closer than the last one. 35-9.

swamp dog 0 Posted October 28, 2005 6 month ban bet - does swamp puppy have the balls? completely ridiculous. not only would it then supercede several sig bets i have out there (including one with walter), it'd deprive this board of the grade-a entertainment you provide. if you want to do a month ban, i'll do it: start november 1, back on december 1 for the loser this weekend. straight-up bet: winning team, no points. i've got the lions. you, of course, have the bears. and it's a double bonus if i lose: then dumhass can get drunk and post all during the month of november and say "whereiz *hic* swampy!!! he'z disapearered...i knows it!!!!!!" let me know. Poosay, 6 months starting November 1st. You'll be back just in time for your annual "Millen is a genius" rant. Besides, you disappear every year from November 1st to December 1st and well into January anyways. Bet something of substance.
