My guess -> Life w/o parole - Not death penalty.

It's life.

At least that means lots of ass-pounding followed by a bloody death.

Good for them.

Why? B/c you felt that the facts of the case (which I'm sure you are equally as familiar with as the jurors  ) merited life and not death or just b/c you happen to oppose the death penalty?

I'm happy with the Life Sentence verdict. Death Penalty is too easy on him. Let his toss some salad and get his arse kicked daily.

i agree and its quite silly...

those on the outside are thinking, yay...good for him..he deserves to at least live  they dont realize that they are cheering on a life of torture for this guy...good for him..he deserves to starve and eat his own poop...

missysosa was most likely praying for the chair..tough break, ######...

the prison he is going to has everyone in solitary. He should be forced to spend it in a general population prison. He gets one hour a day, to himself. <_<

maybe torrid can go spend that hour with him and they can talk about what a hero he was for trying to kill innocent people.

true - he specifically asked for the death penalty.

The jury did their job here - this was never a death penalty case.

I did as far as the merits of the case, but on a moral basis you're absolutely right. My mind is totally closed on that score; I think it's completely wrong for the state to use killing as legal punishment, particularly of its own citizens (although that's not the case here).

Glad to see you value the terrorists lives more than all those babies that get slaughtered in the womb.

I'd give $1000 to get a pay-per-view telecast of his first month in general population.

Personally, I would prefer we haul his ass up to the top of a high-rise, throw gasoline on him, throw a match at him, and push him off.

Mebbe he would experience some of what many on 9/11 experienced.

I don't think you can call it a "gay thing".It is more of a "the worst thing you could do to this guy".Which will involve a lot more than a buftuk.

Sorry to disappoint you, ya terrorist cack-sucking puzzy, I have 4 kids who will embrace reality as opposed to living in the focked up world you reside in.

Congrats on finding the keyboard. I thought all you could manage was clicking on a smilie. Hope you didn't strain something.

Life in prison.

Good for them.

In your world, wouldn't it have been more fitting to just free the man and let him go back home? After all, isn't he just a freedom fighter responding to US global tyranny and economic oppression.

Bump for Torridjoe. Am I right? Wouldn't full release, if not outright praise, be consistent with your position on Moussaoui?

I would sit with a six pack and a plate full of wings and watch with great interest.

I'd be jumping up and down like a cheerleader at a high school pep rally.

Also, wasn't Dahmer's rape with a broomstick?

I would not be opposed to a work release program on a pig farm for Moussaoui.

I'm kinda torn on this. Part of me thinks he should suffer in the most indescribably agony for the death and suffering he caused. The other part pities him for being a brainwashed religious zealot that is acting out of blind faith for what he truly believes without any rational thought.

What if you had a child that was abducted by a cult at birth, brainwashed their entire lives to become a killing machine, and then wound up killing someone on an order from their high priest?

It's tough - you should be held responsible for your actions, but when you don't have the capacity or ability to think as a rational human due to years and years of psychological manipulation... for me it gets awful tricky.

Those that taught him to hate and kill for Allah (or whatever) are the real criminals in my mind. They are the ones that should be ultimately be held responsible. Of course, they are just as brainwashed as the rest i guess - they had to learn it from somewhere. Bleh. It's all horrible.

Considering he wanted to die a martyr, I am glad they didn't give him what he wanted.

I agree. The jurors should have hinted that being the reason.

Then what good is a person like this?

Might just as well get rid of them.

I'm hoping that in prison, he gets a broom stick rammed up his bung hole and out his eye socket.

Maybe use him as a test subject for some kind of mass religious deprogramming? If we can 'convert' this guy to some other religion or just a non-loony form of Muslim, he could be the ultimate envoy in Middle Eastern relations (from behind bars of course).

torrid think the pilots of the planes were brave. I wonder if he thinks Moussaoui is brave too even though he was a failure.

Turbin also thinks members of our military are just dupes who couldn't get a real job. Go figure.

If he really said that, he was probably making a point that "bravery" is a relative term. And I'd agree. Relative to many Muslims, the 9-11 attackers were brave. Relative to Americans, they were insane terrorists.
