Top Five Gaurentees for the year.

Recommended Posts

5--Jake Delhomme will finish as a top five qb...possibly #1 if Peyton goes on tour with Lenny Kravitz!

4--Antonio Bryant will become a #2 fantasy wr by week four and stay there!

3--Jay Cutler will fill in for Jake Plummer (injury) and be the starting QB for Denver for the next 12 years.

2--Torry Holt will set the record for receiving yards in a season.

1--Brett Favre will throw 30 TD passes....less than 20 int's....the Pack will win the NFC North....lose in playoffs and Favre will retire after playoff loss!

Not a Favre or Packer fan....I just feel like he's gonna go out good.

not gonna happen in Green Bay. As much as I'd love to see Favre go out in the playoffs, his offensive line is in shambles, his RBs are banged up, outside of Driver there's no proven WR, and his defense has more holes than swiss cheese. Gonna be a looooong year for the gunslinger.

I wouldn't put my life on the line that Alexander will be a Seahawk this year.

It's too easy to say....LT will run for 1500 yards.....LJ will have 2500 combined yards. I'm tired of all the obvious stuff....go out on a limb and take some chances! So why not be a little bold....what's there to lose?

I guarantee, no matter how much research I do, no matter what team they're on, no matter what my draft position, no matter what I else I do...I guarantee that whoever I pick for my FF team...

...they will suck

Until I drop them,

...then they'll kick ass.

That is all.

3. Arizona will become the greatest show in the desert but will still miss the playoffs.

4. Peyton Manning has 13 300 yard games this season.

5. The Steelers don't make the playoffs.

I'll give it a shot (he says from a high tree top)...

1. Eli Manning will post better numbers than big brother Peyton.

2. Alex Smith will be a top 10 QB.

3. The Niners will finish above .500.

4. The Giants will win the NFC East.

5. Reggie Bush will be Rookie of the Year.

I guess some of those aren't really bold predictions, but I tried.

2. The media will talk about TO

3. Houston will do better this year only because they cannot do worst than last year

4. Danny Snyder will buy another amusement park and lower the height restriction so he can ride the coasters.

1. Carr (and Vick) will continue to suck and show no NFL QB ability whatsoever.

2. Detroit will totally suck unless they quit screwing around with bradford, furrey and martinez.

3. NY Jets will easily take the #1 pick in 2007.

4. Favre will retire IF he throws TD pass # 421 this year. Otherwise he will be back.

5. The LOD will win it's 4th FFL championship. :headbanger: :D

5. I'll jump on the 49er bandwagon(not really since I 've been on it for months), they will be much better this year and Gore, Bryant and Vern Davis will all end up being top #10 at their repsective positions.

Alex Smith top #15.

4. Marion Barber and Terry Glenn will end up with more TDs than JJ and TO.

3. Ernest Wilford will end up being the #1 WR in Jax.

2. Keyshawn Johnson will be the Superbowl MVP.

1. Reggie Bush will not be a top #10 RB til next year.

Hey! This sounds familiar!

1. That the Eagles struggle on offense this season, but somehow make the playoffs thanks to a dominating defense.

2. Larry Johnson is a fantasy bust, and the Chiefs finish below .500.

3. Arizona will become the greatest show in the desert but will still miss the playoffs.

4. Peyton Manning has 13 300 yard games this season.

5. The Steelers don't make the playoffs.

I like these predictions, especially the LJ / Arizona ones.

As for my own....

5. Clinton Portis, despite the injury, returns to his Denver years form, puts up 1900 total yds, 13 rush TDs, 2 rec, and 1 passing for 16+ TDs. Still finishes 3-4th in RBs. Washington loses their wild card playoff game.

4. Carolina returns to the Super Bowl, Keyshuan enters the top 10 WR's with 1200 yds and 8-10 TDs, while Steve Smith returns to earth with about the same production as Keyshaun, if not worse. Foster manages to not sustain a serious injury, and the Carolina backfield is a frustrating FF mess of who is going to start and when?

3. Chris Chambers remind Culpepper of Moss and they connect for over 13 TDs. Meanwhile CPep manages to stare down Chambers everytime resulting in almost 20 ints this year. Miami just barely misses the playoffs.

2. 4 of the top 8 highly touted WR's fail to finish in the top 15. (Harrison, TO, Holt, C. Johnson, S. Smith, Moss, Boldin, Fitzgerald).

1. Warrick Dunn is a fantasy beast at the end of the year!

I got some '07 predictions....

1. Vince Young will be the new fanatasy football's Mike Vick

2. Reggie Bush will not be a top 10 RB on cheetsheets

3. Washington Redskins head coach, Greg Williams, will have Jason Campell as their '07 starter

4. Google will do fantasy football and blow everyone elses program out of the water but no one knows why

5. NJ Jets select Brady Quinn with the 1st overall pick of the 2007 NFL draft

<_<

I know I'm not reaching for these:

1. Reggie Bush and Larry Johnson will not be complete busts, but will not meet expectations.

2. Deangelo Williams and Laurence Maroney will start at least 3 games each.

3. Niners will win 6 games and average more than 20 pts/game

4. TO will be a top 5 WR this year

5. I will lose my championship game and cry.

I don't know how much of a stretch these will be, but I'll throw out some predictions...

5. Peyton Manning will be blamed for every Colts loss.

4. Billy Volek will vastly outplay Vince Young, but Young will be heralded as the savior of the franchise.

3. San Diego will suffer greatly from the QB change, but the blame will fall on Schottenheimer.

2. Steve Smith will NOT be a top 5 WR.

1. The Bears will miss the playoffs.

Actually, I'll be bold and say those "obvious" assumptions are not going to pan out. I think LT will have less of a load this year with Michael Turner taking some carries in the hopes LT doesn't have another late season breakdown like last year.

I also don't think LJ will have 2,500 combined yards. Not behind a line that lost both starting tackles from last year. Not without Al Saunders calling the plays either. I think LJ has a good year, but doens't put up the record breaking numbers everybody is just assuming he will get with no problem.

I have another one....Sean Alexander breaks the Madden curse. :pointstosky:

1) The Bears will go undefeated in their division.

2) Green Bay will only win two games this year.

3) Willie Parker will run for 1800 yards this year.

4) The Raiders will only win two games this year.

5) Ticket prices will skyrocket at Snyder's amusement park after he overpays for several washed up rides that should be retired.

Larry Johnson WILL NOT finish as the top rated RB

Shaun Alexander WILL NOT match his TD totals

The New England Patriots D/ST will finish top 6 Fantasy and be dominant in the 2nd half

Tom Brady will finish top 3 QB's

Kevin Jones will have a huge year with 1300 + total yards and 10+ TD's

5. Kevan Barlow and Frank Gore will combine for 2500+ yards rushing

4. Reggie Wayne will outperform Marvin

3. Jay Cultler will outperform Jake

2. Eli will outperform Peyton

1. Terry Glenn will catch more touchdown passes than TO, causing a TO-explosion pushing for Tony Romo to be in at starting QB. Parcells will continue to quietly answer questions publicly but make demands of Jerry Jones behind the scenes that will force Jones to choose between TO and Parcells. Parcells will retire at years end under a cloud of speculation when TO is named CEO, GM, and Head of Football Operations in Dallas.

But THIS:

Will never happen.

3. Deshaun Foster will get injured and miss time.

4. Kevan Barlow will remain a crappy RB.

5. Andrew Walters will take over as the starting QB by week 10.

1. Barber takes over in big D

2. Despite mgt pushing Benson, players will make sure Jones is the man here in Chi-Town.

3. LJ suffers without Roaf and FB-finishes out of top 15.

4. Mcgahee finishes in top 10.

5. I will lose the semi-final by 4 points when Chris #@*%@ Cooley catches 3 TD passes- AGAIN! GRRR! That one still hurts.

I'm not sure that is statistically possible unless he gets hurt. Herm is gonna run this dude into the ground, and even if he has a 3.3 yard per carry average he'll still get 350 touches which equals about 1150 yards. Then he is sure to atleast have 4-5 breakaway TD's just on talent and luck. Then thrown in a couple GL carries and he's around 10 td's. That is top ten right there.

5. Eli Manning will be benched

I don't think the retards understood the question:

- TO will implode his third team

- Shanahan will start 7 different RB's this year

- I will end up with the "underachievers" from this group: Addai/Maroney/Williams/Foster/Benson/Jones/Rhodes

- Monday Night Football will still suck a$$

- The guy I wanted will be picked the selection before me in all 14 rounds of my upcoming draft.

Kevin Jones will have a huge year with 1300 + total yards and 10+ TD's

1,300 total yards is a huge year ?

I think we're abusing the word HUGE here, but hey that's just me....

Anyway....

5. - 4,250 yards and 38 Td's later Peyton Manning returns to form as the # 1 Qb this year and it's not even close...

4. The receiving class of 2004 will show the whole world why they'll become one of the best classes ever and rival the class of 1996... I expect Fitzy, Gorgeous Roy & Lee Evans all to be in the top 10 Wr's this year While the others like Michael Clayton, Sammy Parker, Ernest Wilford, Michael Jenkins, Bernard Berrian, DeVery Henderson, KWII , Ben Troupe and Ben Watson will all up their games to another level !!

3. Mike Bell will lead the AFC in rushing and be the R.O.Y.

2. Todd Heap will be at the top of the Heap in the fantasy TE stats this year (above Mr. Gates)....

1. - Antonio Gates will come back to haunt me for saying Todd heap will outperform him by tearing up that manure Kansas City defense in week 15 when i'm playing my buddy Wagner in the Championship game in my Dynasty League... Then my page signature will read (Bennett 04, Tiki 05, Gates 06)... F you Gunther !!!

1,300 total yards is a huge year ? :dunno:

I think we're abusing the word HUGE here, but hey that's just me....

Anyway....

OK is it a huge year for LJ or LT? No. Is it a huge year for a guy you can get late 2nd early 3rd round? Yep. If you have LT, or a stud RB and get those #'s out of your #2 RB that's pretty solid.

Either way it's an appropriate statement.. I am guilty of abusing the word huge!

LJ OUT OF THE TOP 15? That's insane. He won't finish #1 but top 15? If you believe that you should do whatever you can to trade up then trade him after he starts out strong when his value is even higher then before the season starts.

I am going to go with a few mine

1. Roy williams will have a top 5 year at WR.

2.Terry glenn will also have a big year and also be top 5.

3.Reggie will start and will play like he did in the last game untill week 6.

4.Vince Young will not be a bust and start after week 5.

5.Santana Moss will have a bad year and not be a top 20 wr.

Ok........I'll play

1. Driver will be a top 5 Wr

2. Jerome Harrison will produce more yards from scrimmage then Reggie Bush.

3. TO and Benson will both play in less than half of their games, and Glenn and Jones will easily double their production.

4. Phillip Rivers will be a top 5 Qb this season.

5. DJax will see the field only once this regular season, and Burleson will takeover becoming a top 10 wideout.

Kellen Clemens is performing very well over here in Jets land... coaches seem to like him a lot. I can see them leaning towards a RB here or DE.
