AnkleBiter 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Ouch. See what happens when you don't let FWP go ahead and punch it in?
jerryskids 6,798 Posted September 8, 2006 ETA: TURNOVER!!! Sorry Parker owners. .
football_scooter 0 Posted September 8, 2006 There ya go! It wasn't a pick but it was a turnover. Yep....man, he was going to well too. My fault...I jinxed him.
Tobex 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Wow, what a waste of time for Pittsburgh! FWP went in the 1st round in my league...now I see why. He's getting a ton of touches.

VaTerp 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Agreed - shifty moves by Brown. He's a definate talent and I will be the 1st to admit I underrated him. He lowers his shoulder into defenders and is a tough guy to bring down. His razzle dazzle is extremely impressive - he's easily juked for 1/3 of his yards. Against the Steelers, that's 40 RuYd, against the Browns, it's 140, 4 TDs. Sometimes the tale of the tape doesn't say it all. Yeah. I thought Brown was good but now Im starting to think he is special. I underrated him and could very well suffer as a result. I've been drinking and I know its just the first week of the season AND i have criticized others for overreacting BUT in a dynasty or keeper format I cant think of ANY other RB who is set up better for the future than Brown. He's young, has good size, tons of talent, a relatively young supporting cast, and MIA O-line can get nothing but better in the future. And BTW, Parker's performance is getting lost in all of this. He looks good too and I think he'll have top end 2nd round fantasy numbers at season's end. Steeler fumble. Mia and the points baby
biggtyme13 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Wow, what a waste of time for Pittsburgh! FWP went in the 1st round in my league...now I see why. He's getting a ton of touches. Yeah and than almost got vulchered
PhoenixColts 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Fumble at the goalline...reminds me of Pittsburgh's playoff game vs. Indy.

FlaHawker 24 Posted September 8, 2006 oh, come on. This is a physical game - Refs have been letting them play for the most part. I didn't see anything wrong with those calls. you still here? Oh now the refs need to let the guys play
MicktheGreat 1 Posted September 8, 2006 Ouch. See what happens when you don't let FWP go ahead and punch it in? Note To Cowher: NEVAH BENCH WILLIE PARKER!!!!
Savage Beast 1 Posted September 8, 2006 Sorry Parker owners. . Bwahahahahaha............................................if another RB doesn't vulture Parker's TD's, Pitt will just turn the ball over instead.
z00g 0 Posted September 8, 2006 To Fast Willie owners who thought they were just going to see a touchdown at the stripe: I'm sorry. He's doing well tonight. 100 yards already. Who would've thought he's getting his rear handed to him fantasy-wise by a guy who's done 29 yards on 12 carries? I'm really sorry. It's not your fault. Ronnie Brown
Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted September 8, 2006 Where are all those morons who earlier in the day were saying crap like bench Ronnie for Gore? BTW, FWP benched with 1st and goal from the 1. Same old, same old. Not an owner.
daSwami 0 Posted September 8, 2006 FWP went 1.12 in our league and I am playing against him this week...

jvizzini 0 Posted September 8, 2006 FWP went in the 1st round in my league...now I see why. He's getting a ton of touches. Curiously they took him out at the goaline and put in Haynes.... disturbing
dj88 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Is Haynes a vulture or was Parker tired at the 1?
shovelheadt 71 Posted September 8, 2006 Yet another terrible pass by Pep. Last year was not a fluke, although he won't be quite that bad. And a second that almost cost him the game.
football_scooter 0 Posted September 8, 2006 and another easy catch for Chambers, and....and....and....
DBZFan2K 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Get Culpepper OUT of there for phucks sake! For who? Harrington?
Savage Beast 1 Posted September 8, 2006 3rd times a charm.
throttlers 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I think Saban is doing a darn good job of managing C-Pep. It could be much worse.
joeH 6 Posted September 8, 2006 Veron Haynes....vulture.
DanXIII 8 Posted September 8, 2006 For who? Harrington? Couldn't be any worse at this point. Hell, Gus friggin Frerotte could hit a wide open receiver (see Chambers' #'s from last season).
p.man 7 Posted September 8, 2006 That 3rd down catch was big for Miami. If nothing else it gives them more room to punt if the drive stalls. It will also push the Steelers back more than they would have been.
roroco 75 Posted September 8, 2006 Can someone thell the Phins that they are up in the 4th quarter and that they should think about running the ball a bit more? I mean the last thing they need is an INT on their half of the field... Give it to Brown already
scott72 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Is Haynes a vulture or was Parker tired at the 1? Haynes is the new Bettis..He's a vulture..Sorry FWP owners..
throttlers 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Couldn't be any worse at this point. Hell, Gus friggin Frerotte could hit a wide open receiver (see Chambers' #'s from last season). 221 yards and no ints? Yes it could be much worse.
jerryskids 6,798 Posted September 8, 2006 Get Culpepper OUT of there for phucks sake! Yeah, other than the last couple of quick hitches, he hasn't thrown a ball worth shiot tonight. I'd feel bad because I had him for a long time in my keeper league. But now I don't. And I have Ronnie.
DanXIII 8 Posted September 8, 2006 221 yards and no ints? Yes it could be much worse. LOL he hits a 3rd and long while I'm talking sh!t.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 8, 2006 I like this whole "Throw to Chambers every play" strategy. They should have started that in the first half.

Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 8, 2006 Anyone else notice that they are throwing a quick hitch to a WR every other play. How about an adjustment there Mr. Chin?
scott72 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Why all the passes??? WTF is Saban thinking?? Run clock you idiot!!
TIKI-BARBERS-BARBER 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Curiously they took him out at the goaline and put in Haynes.... disturbing Fast Willie took himself out guess he wanted a breather.

Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 8, 2006 It's starting to look like that fumble doomed the Steelers. If Miami gets this first down, time could start to be a factor.
TIKI-BARBERS-BARBER 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Also guys I know Ronnie has two tds but he only has 29 yards and some of you guys are acting like he is putting up Larry Johnson stats.
