Lions have a lot of significance in our culture and if you've ever seen the middle name "Singh" that actually means lion in old-time punjabi. Every punjabi's guy middle name is singh while every womans middle name is kaur. I wanna get that and maybe a phrase written under/over it. I have a few in mind but it depends if i want it in punjabi or english. As we all know, sayings rarely cross languages and keep the meaning. But i'm leaning toward a punjabi proverb. One of my friends insists it lool slike the Longhorns logo from a distance and gave me crap when I got it. I got it when I was like 24, and I still like it (I'm 35). Considering getting a 1/2 sleeve or another large one at some point once I know exactly what I want. I have an idea but want it to be absolutely perfect. I like tat's but I don't understand why/how people can just pick a design out of a book. On a similar note, on Mind of Mencia last night he did a bit on tattoos. It was friggin crassic. Talked about guys getting Chinese symbols that they think means one thing but then they go to Chinatown and find out it actual means "I love to svck cack". And how women don't understand that a tattoo in the lower part of your back, is a call sign to guys "Do me doggie style". Then he asked who had a tattoo in the audience. Some white guy (shaved head, thin, dorky, mayo looking guy) raises his hand. Mencia says "Hey Chad what do you have?" The guy pulls up his sleeve to show a tribal band our his bicep. Mencia starts laughing his arse off. "Hey Chad, what tribe are you from!?!? The wonderbread tribe?!?!" He busts on him for another 5 minutes and keeps calling him "Chad" in that upity, clenched teeth way. Just abuses the guy for having a tribal band, when he looked like a "Chad". Finally, he says "I'm just having fun with man. Your name's not really "Chad", what is it?" The guy responds "Blake"... Mencia falls to the ground LHAO. But i never asked them before they got said tattoos if they planned on only getting one from the start. The one friend that said sh was only getting one, ended up getting two and wants one more. I think i could get only one because i wouldn't even know what else to get and i'm too picky. I've been thinkin about it for about 6 months and still haven't even found the right lion.
