jets24 6 Posted April 3, 2007 I mean, c'mon TV Land. How many times can I watch Andy Griffith and Leave it to Beaver? I like them as much as the next guy but enough already. Anyhow, I saw that one of my local channels brought back some Wonder Years reruns and next week it is bringing back Alice. Wish The Odd Couple was on like it used to be. Never see it anymore. I'll even give you some cartoons I'd like to see them put back on. Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse. Magilla Gorilla. Riccorcee Rabbit And Deaputy Droop Along Fintstones. MicktheGreat 1 Posted April 3, 2007 A few shows come to mind... 1. Homicide: Life on the Streets 2. Twin Peaks 3. Picket Fences 4. Millenium WGN shows does show reruns of Homicide but at a really inconvenient morning time (10 a.m., I think). Personally, it's one of my favorite shows ever (interesting story-lines, incredible acting, empathetic characters, etc.). I really wish TNT would pull a one-hour section of its vast Law & Order evening reruns; and plug Homicide in its place. Twin Peaks & Millenium were both really great, really creepy shows (although Millenium was a little darker & Twin Peaks was a little more surreal). The first few seasons of Picket Fences was well-written with lots of interesting characters, but the last few seasons were the absolute suck.

KSB2424 3,148 Posted April 3, 2007 I watched this show as a kid, maybe on PBS, that had this dude that traveled in time by using a telephone booth. What was the name of that damn show?!?!?

jets24 6 Posted April 3, 2007 Cartoons are a real problem. It seems that Boomerang bought all the rights to the old cartoons. Haven't you noticed that you never see Bugs Bunny anymore? Also missing are the old Scooby Doos, Daffy Duck, Flintstones, Tom & Jerry, etc. Totally sucks for my son, who is stuck with Spongebob and the other crap. Back to regular shows... I wish they would bring back.... Fantasy Island

Byars41 0 Posted April 3, 2007 I would love to catch some classic Wonder Years reruns. Exactly what I came in here to post. Wonder Years was a great show. Jack Arnold walks through the door and Norma already has his Vodka Tonic ready. Norma: how was work? Jack: work's work (and dives into the vodka tonic)

phillybear 366 Posted April 3, 2007 4. Millenium Millenium were both really great, really creepy show...although Millenium was a little darker... Great show. Sadly, only three seasons were made, but among my favorite TV shows in my DVD collection. Glad I don't have to depend on the reruns. Basically, all these crime scene shows all over the dial owe a debt of gratitude to this profiler show-before-its-time. But those shows are mostly cheesy fluff, which wrap up storylines in neat one episode packages. This was great dark, depressing, fascinating stuff, focused on serial killer and the coming Apocalypse. I can't think of another show that had such a brilliant first season. Millenniumm

wiffleball 4,790 Posted April 3, 2007 Tour of Duty and Get Smart are excellent suggestions. I would add "soap", "titus" & "WKRP in Cincinatti" to that list. Focking hysterical. Agreed. I know economics plays into it, but if you're a whole network dedicated to 'classic reruns' then they need to add many more shows to the rotation.

JT 137 Posted April 3, 2007 News Radio. It was airing weekdays at noon on TBS, but has been replaced by the Steve Harvey show. This caught me by surprise, as I was not aware there WAS a Steve Harvey show. "soap would be great if shown in sequence.

supermike80 1,898 Posted April 3, 2007 Good Suggestions: All in the Family News Radio Series shows like Hill Street Blues are only as good if you can see them in sequence. It's hard to watch one rerun of a show like that and really enjoy it. I have been TiVo ing Spin City(with Michael J Fox)......Good entertainment.
