The error is that you took the time to try and find an error which doesn't exist. It's a stupidassed chain letter fodder.

 

Actually, if it's supposed to be that douchey... you would have to type: the error.

20% of UCSD assumed that there was an error and guessed one, while 80% of the students deduced that there isn't one.

 

So..the error is assuming that there is an error.

:banana: The contradiction here is your error. The instructions say to find the error implying one exists. But the very next sentence says that it is impossible. If there was an error, than it would be possible to find it. So the combination of these two statements is the error.

Here's another twist. The "error" is that 80% of the students could not find the error above. The correct answer is 100%, since there isn't one.
