Am I doing something wrong here? I guess that I just never noticed that the site would not allow me to post consecutive post.

Is this going to be an issue?

Here's a comment about my pick.

You don't think that Denver gave this guy $30 mil just to block, do you?

Well then sir, you are lone with that thought. Alone on a raft that is adrift in a sea of stupidity. By yourself. With only an incorrect thought to keep you company.

#$%%&^* and Cutler came in together and really clicked late last year.

Having lost this league the past two seasons by the smallest of margins, I decided to take my number three rated kicker. Had I waited, there may have been at least a 20 plus fantasy point downgrade at the position. I expect plenty of stalled drives and will watch Goulds field goal tries.

And it's goooood. :dunno:

Wow!! There is one Qb that has been overlooked :first:

Shhhhhhhh.... don't give away my Jim Sorgi pick

I would have liked Nate Kaeding with this 13th rounder, but since he is gone, Jeff Reed is a nice consolation prize. He's on a team that can find itself consistently inside the 20, and is traditionally conservative enough to take the 3. Getting my first Steeler on board in the 13th round had nothing to do with it.

I almost took him instead of Losman back in round 11. I am really shocked.

I had to back up my #1 Rb here, and am hearing real good things about this young man. Perry is not even in the conversation anymore in Cincy.

are we talking about leftwich? who knows how many games he will play, but i did my extensive qb research / rankings yesterday and ended up with leftiwch right at the bottom of the top half of the QBs in the league, #16, in ppg. ahead of a bunch of qbs who have one already including favre, cutler, manning, rivers, grossman, losman.

in a related story, losman came in at #29. lol.

Nevermind.....................ted took the guy I was talking about. I hadn't seen Alex Smith go, but realize he was taken while I was on the rode. I really like him to this year, but am buying into some of the Evans hype. I know they are your ratings Bomb, but when you take a look at ever other rating in the Universe, you won't find another with losman that low. lol!

hes #24 in my qb rankings, but 29th in ppg. ahead of guys like leftwich in the one and not the other.

i just dont see why people are excited about him as a backup. a lot of things went right last year and he ended up with just over 3000 yards and 19 TDs. hes among the lowest in the league in attempts per game and below average in yards per attempt. he has one legitimate receiving threat and just lost his best RB this offseason. 3000/19 already isnt exciting, and then you remember the one game where the defender got badly burned once and slipped once on the pair of 83 yard TDs to evens. if you ignore those two very flukish plays, you end up with losman averaging 180/1 each game. with this team getting worse on every conceivable facet this offseason, i just dont see why i should care about losman.

alex smith comes in almost dead even with losman. the loss of norv turner there and lack of any good receivers just leave little to the imagination there. smith is #22 in my rankings but just 28th in ppg. i dont see any reason i'll even sniff either of those guys in a draft this year. i cant think of any matchup where i could actually be excited about playing either of them.

Oh well . . . deal with it. Call it a homer pick if it makes you feel better, and blame on the Soloist.

Nice value pick there Fumble. I see enough PT from Droughns to certainly warrant a roster spot here. I also thought about him this round but felt that my backfield had enough at the time. The guy will not get many TD's but he is there in case Jacobs falls flat on his face in the starters position. Not sure yet how this all shakes out with the Giant backfield.

Nice to see you here oh Grateful One. Is that now 6 wide receivers on your squad or have I made a mistake?

I have you using both flex roster spots for wide out. Just curious and please set me straight if I have made a mistake on my draft chart. Thanks.

Yea there's 6 WR's, under this format I think I'm better off with an extra wr than carring an extra TE who'd more

than likley get me 1 or 2 pts when actually used.

This would be a nice strategy except that if your number one tight end goes down, you lose all points at the position until he comes back, or possibly the whole season should he not make it out of pre season. This happened to me once mid season and cost me bigtime. It does carry risk when leaving just one guy at the position in this format of no replacements, but it may very well work to your advantage should your number six post eqaul or better numbers than your number three on any given week. Either way, good luck.

My fourth rated kicker RC, real nice value in Stover IMO. You have had a solid draft. Great job :ninja:

Guy's, I sent my picks over to Da Bomb. He can also e mail them to Fumble. I will be back tonight around 7:30. Great job

i have the picks. i'll be in and out today but will try to stay on top of these last couple, should be fine.

i liked the greg olsen pick late. im not sure why people arent buying into him. hes a dynamic talent and i cant think of a better fit for him to have gone to. dont we all remember desmond clark being pretty valuable last year? he had 625 and 6 last season. if olsen starts, youd have to think he does that well and probably better with better athleticism. then again maybe since clark is still there, thats the reason for the skepticism and late value. i just know i like olsen in this offense more than vernon davis in last years offense, and davis was going in the 8th or 9th in most drafts last year.

marty booker to lou was a pick i suggested to him. i think he was a good find at this point in the draft as a WR5 type. he was the better performer in miami last year. now with trent green i expect that offense to function fairly well (far better than last year). he had 750/6 last year which would make him a great WR5. if he can duplicate those TDs and then add some more yards in an improved offense, its even better. also one of those guys who seems to get hot once a season for a few weeks and in this format that could carry a team for a bit. in conclusion, i care too much about a mock that im not even in. marty booker for president. :o

People are getting some good value late in this round. I like the Jason Campbell pick and really like the Gonzalez and Booker picks, both of whom I was targeting for the upcoming turn.
