It's a literal issue of life and death, of the shedding of innocent children's blood, and not enough is being done to stop the rampant legalized child murders taking place by the thousands every day in the USA. Hell I have been to baptist Southern Baptist Pentecostal Methodist Presbyterian Lutheran Catholic Once I got older I started to question what all these people were saying. The stories that could have come out of a hollywood writers brainstorming session. I think that all people believe in god when they are young because its what they are told by their parents. But as some of us get older we start to think that god is like the easter bunny or the boogieman. Never seen but tons of stories about and you have to take a leap of faith to believe. Which I am not prepared to do. I belive there was a man named jesus. Hell I belive there were LOTS of men named jesus. I also believe that people were much more gullible back then. Moses actually did speak to god through a burning bush, johna was really swallowed by a whale and lived to tell about it. Sh!t that if i were to tell you today without any previous Knowledge of the bible you would call me a liar. Yet because it is in a book that is 2,000 years old and has been translated and retranslated you believe it. Okkkkkkkk. Back in Biblical times, the Holy Land pretty much was "the whole world." Exploration hadn't even really begun. There are several societies in that area that have a "flood" myth/story/theory. The Bible has the most surviving original documentation, so if it's a lie, then all ancient history is a lie. Better study up on your ancient history, before denying the truth of scripture. How do you know i dont make up my own mind. Just because i believe in God does not mean i believe everything my church believes, in fact quite the oppisite, i struggle believing in God on a daily basis, and i bet thats the way most people are. Like, as far as adding a dysfunctinal member to the world part...for example people use the whole "Hitler's mom almost had an abortion" theory, but there's a counter to that...like what if Einsteins mom had an abortion? I don't think it's right to abort a child simply because we think it will end up in a bad home. People from bad homes often grow up fine, and happy. Sometimes, yes they are screwed up. But I just think every one of them should be given a chance. A baby from a bad home is no less valuable than a baby from a good home. And what about adoption?
