I'd join in a flash if there is still a spot and if you would be willing to work with me on the timing of when the fees are due. i.e. I'd need to split up paying that first $100.00. Yes, I am a poor mofo at this point in time.But, I can also be counted on to show up prepared and on time for the draft. and stay active throughout the season regardless of how well my team is doing. Also, I'd definately like to include at least a few IDP positions.

Put me on the maybe list, no sense in trading for anything but TOP NOTCH players with the current plan. Its either Dynasty or its not IMO. True dynastys are won and lost in the later rounds, this plan focks that up IMO. This only makes the draft order more important. Ill have to rethink this one, give me a bit.

Whoever bids most, gets first pick. 2nd most gets 2nd pick. etc. If people bid the same, pick those from a hat. Then once 1st round positions are established, serpentine.

 

First year payouts will be bigger obviously.

Money is an issue for some people. The advantage would be obvious to those who can depart with more.

If someone wants to pay $50 for the 1st pick? LET THEM! it's way better than picking it out of a hat and it's more money the league has to play with.

So in other words, allow people to buy the supposed better picks rather than allowing everyone at least a 1 in 12 chance of getting them.

Some people will have no chance at paying any extra money, and that's wrong.

 

We all have the exact same odds with the draft randomizer. How could it be any more fair than that? I've been racking my brain for a solution that's better and I'm not hearing it. If a straight up randomizer doesn't work for most people then I would compromise and agree with what you mentioned earlier Ed. Randomize the draft this year but next year the order gets flipped and then in year 3 reverts back to worse records dictate order. All the other solutions seem severely flawed.
