gemynd 0 Posted January 10, 2009 Let's get this single-digit scoring game going.
Mephisto 15 Posted January 10, 2009 It's already looking like an ugly street-fight, which is great!
Ras66not99 0 Posted January 10, 2009 Crazy how people totally ignored Chris Johnson's importance to this offense, without his presence they wouldn't move the ball 10 feet.... Matt Ryan deserved the ROY just as much, it just bothered me when everyone said Ryan deserved it in a landslide...
Mephisto 15 Posted January 10, 2009 Holy SHAT, was that a big-time collision between Lewis and Hall! He held onto the ball for a first-down, even if he didn't hold onto his helmet! It was a "WOO-HIT"
Mephisto 15 Posted January 10, 2009 Did you hear all of those Philadelphia fans put up a rousing cheer when Terrell Suggs was laying on the ground hurt?
gemynd 0 Posted January 10, 2009 Collins looks really sharp today. They better start converting all this yardage to points though.
Dan 66 Posted January 10, 2009 Did you hear all of those Philadelphia fans put up a rousing cheer when Terrell Suggs was laying on the ground hurt? I think that had everything to do with the previous play, where Suggs was clearly "giving Scaife the business", and not suffering a flag for it.
jpcdds 26 Posted January 10, 2009 Until he got injured...CJ3 was by far the best player on the field....not to mention he survived the cheap shot by Ed Reed....
EAwer 1 Posted January 10, 2009 is CJ3 coming back at all? fock
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 10, 2009 Until he got injured...CJ3 was by far the best player on the field....not to mention he survived the cheap shot by Ed Reed.... I just turned the game on, how did he get injured and how serious is it?
jpcdds 26 Posted January 10, 2009 I just turned the game on, how did he get injured and how serious is it? He hurt his ankle...not sure when. It appeared he hurt his back when ed reed tried to turn him into a pretzel...but he continued to play after. He is questionable

Mephisto 15 Posted January 11, 2009 Am I mistaken or is that the THIRD TURNOVER in the red-zone this game for Tennessee?
t.j 35 Posted January 11, 2009 Didn't Flacco step on the line at the back of the end zone on that 3rd & 10 pass? I never got a 2nd look at it, but it sure looked like it live.
Bill E. 703 Posted January 11, 2009 I could be wrong but on the 3rd down incomple pass it looked like Flacco stepped out of the endzone before he passed. He just hit the white line w/ his foot. Wouldn't that be a safety?

Mephisto 15 Posted January 11, 2009 I thought the same thing and kept waiting for a replay. It never came HOLY CRAP! I didn't say anything (except to mmm) and I thought maybe I hallucinated! Now, I'm going to rewind and take a closer look!
Bill E. 703 Posted January 11, 2009 HOLY CRAP! I didn't say anything (except to mmm) and I thought maybe I hallucinated! Now, I'm going to rewind and take a closer look! By the way, I am rooting hard for PHI. As a Stiller fan, I would LOVE to see an all PA Superbowl.
Mephisto 15 Posted January 11, 2009 HOLY CRAP! I didn't say anything (except to mmm) and I thought maybe I hallucinated! Now, I'm going to rewind and take a closer look! Without a different angle, it's too hard to tell. I rewind the DVR and go to frame-by-frame and that camera angle from the front left doesn't give you a shot to see if there is any grass between his foot and the endline... and it looks to me like he could be out. Just then, two bodies blocking pass in front of the view of his feet and it looks like he does a little hop with backward momentum. By the time the engaged players in front of him pass him by, he is already in the process of stepping up to deliver the pass. I would LOVE to see a lower camera angle that is closer to the endzone. I can't believe the dorks in the booth didn't at least mention it and that there was no other angle replayed for same.
gemynd 0 Posted January 11, 2009 HOLY CRAP! I didn't say anything (except to mmm) and I thought maybe I hallucinated! Now, I'm going to rewind and take a closer look! Did you look? I was sure he stepped out and was disappointed they did not show a replay.
Mephisto 15 Posted January 11, 2009 Wow, the playclock was at 0 for a good 2 seconds... no flag thrown for delay of game.
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 11, 2009 Didn;t the clock run out on that last play???
gemynd 0 Posted January 11, 2009 Inevitable overtime?
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 11, 2009 fockin refs at it again!!
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted January 11, 2009 Wow, the playclock was at 0 for a good 4 seconds... no flag thrown for delay of game. WTF? That was just horrible. Can't wait to hear the league's explanation on that one, especially if Tenn loses.
Bill E. 703 Posted January 11, 2009 It may have worked out better. Only getting 2 points and a free kick, if Ten does not score they are down by 1. Still at the time I would thing TEN would want the points. I can't believe the dorks in the booth didn't at least mention it Oh, I can. These guys are morons. gocolts 300 Posted January 11, 2009 Wow, the playclock was at 0 for a good 2 seconds... no flag thrown for delay of game. THAT was completely unacceptable officiating right there. Focking terrible non-flag.
Kaptain02 0 Posted January 11, 2009 Didn;t the clock run out on that last play??? Nope, the ravens are catching many breaks... They dont deserve to win this one.
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 11, 2009 WTF? That was just horrible. Can't wait to hear the league's explanation on that one, especially if Tenn loses. Trust me, Baghdad Mike Periera will tell us we saw a mirage and that the clock did not run out and the refs indeed made the right call.
gemynd 0 Posted January 11, 2009 I think the number of penalties exceed the total score so far.
Bill E. 703 Posted January 11, 2009 Didn;t the clock run out on that last play??? It ran out, they reset it and it ran out again. That was one long pause.
Bill E. 703 Posted January 11, 2009 TEN better start calling timeouts
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted January 11, 2009 I guess the league is making sure a small market team like the Titans won't ruin their ratings in another Superbowl

Bill E. 703 Posted January 11, 2009 WOW, the officials give this one to the Ravens. Don't forget the 4 turnovers. Ugly game all around.
gocolts 300 Posted January 11, 2009 Don't forget the 4 turnovers. Ugly game all around. True. Titans should have had this put away a long time ago.
