I just had an amazing streak, I played 10 FFA and came in top 3 in all 10, my K/D is now .96

 

The only thing that is killing me is the killstreak rewards, I totally messed up early and now I am suffering from lack of good ones.

Played a TDM today - went 18-0-1 on Estate and my team LOST 7500/7300. WTF!!! I'm plus 17 and the rest of my team went negative 19!

I just had a 25 - 1 on FARVELA FFA with a streak of 19, i killed 4 people with a stealth bomber right before time ran out. my k/d is 1.07

You get an emblem, a title, and the 10k xp. Nothing better than being in a match, getting what appears to be an ordinary kill and +10,000 popping up.

I'm going for the AK-47 mastery now, then I will prestige. Also trying to get level VI on as many perks as posible. The only three I have left that I really want are marathon, light weighted, and scrambler.

I bought a new router the other day that finally allows my roomate and I to play in the same game without any problems anymore..We played S&D almost exclusively yesterday.

Pretty much got our asses handed to us for awhile, but later on, we were both averaging 7 kills a game. (lots of XP)

I had 1 game where I went like 12-1. (Not an easy feat in S&D)

Found another really good camping spot for Edjr. Since I realize Sux doesn't like that, especially since I'm an XBOX guy - This is for Edjr only:

 

 

Map: Scrapyard. This works really best when playing domination. You need a setup of Assault/Grenade launcher. Perk 1- One Man Army/Perk 2-Danger Close. Obvious/Perk 3-who cares. Equipment-Tactical Insertion or Claymores. I prefer claymores and you'll get why in a second.

 

You need to make your way to the warehouse side and get up the ladder to the top. Works great if your team starts on that side, but at some point during almost every game you're team will control that side. Don't stay on the ladder side, but run across the catwalk to the far side of the room. Just hide behind the wall. You'll have a good view of anyone coming from the forklift garage and if they come in the door...pop em. Now just wait until you hear 'You are losing "C" objective'(or whatever he says) pop from behind the window and noobtube!!! Pow! 2 or 3 kills. For fun chuck another grenade anywhere on the map.

 

Now just use one man army and pick the same class...bam, 2 more grenades. I use claymores, so I can put some by the door, directly below me. If one goes off, well One Man Army gives you infinite ammo, claymores, grenades! If you get a couple of teammates up there, you can noobtube to 30/40 kills-with killstreaks.

Two things I've noticed about PS3 v. Xbox with Modern Warfare 2.....

 

1. The PS3 controls SUCK. It's going to take me forever to get the hang of the controls.

 

2. Sound quality and graphics are WAY better on PS3. The sound is incredible.

OK...This pains me to admit, but our resident fat fock (heavyset) is pretty damn good at this game.

 

He joined my roomate and I in a few games of S&D (which he has never played before) and after like 3 games or so, he was the constant high scorer.

I'm at 1.17 k/d ratio. I guess it doesn't count since i'm on xbox.

 

Once i found the aug-hbar i've been climbing. Before i found it, i was at about .80. I think i'll probably settle around 1.50 eventually. Over the next few days i wanna try a few new guns though. I'm gonna try the M4, ACR, and give the scar another chance. I hated it because it ran out of ammo so quick, but now that i use scavenger, it should help out quite a bit.

Not a huge fan of AK-47 recoil is HUGE, but I will use it until I master it, it will probably bring my k/d ratio down, along with trying to get 250 kills with scramabler that perk is stupid (besides the pro of delaying claymore).

 

Had maybe one of my most impressive matches last night started 6 v 6 (their 6 had all prestiged once) in TDM. 4 possays on my team quit cause they got shot too many times and it only left me and some level 30ish dood. Amazingly the focking game didnt bring anyone else in for our team almost the whole time (someone came in with a minute left) which I think is focked up because I always get thrown in those bullsh1t matches. Anyways still lost the match by 600 or so but ended 29-10 for the match. Focking hard to do when it was alomst 6 v 1

No kidding. Same with the hardcore camp fests. It's not hard to have a 1.50+ K/D if you play FFA and just camp with your M4.

 

 

Each prestige I'm choosing different weapons to master. I've done the M4, SCAR, TAR, FAL, M16, Intervention, .50 Cal, M21, M9, .44 Mag, P90 and MP5k. Not all the headshots or anything, just the mastery. That's why my friend Jordan with all the nukes doesn't talk trash to me, and those with higher K/D or prestige or whatever don't impress me.

Me and my brothers are all veterans, and we moaned for a while at the inaccuracies.. Then we realized, ITS A GAME.. Yeah, if you camped like that in real life, you'd be screwed. Yeah if you jumped when someone shot at you, you'd be screwed. If you ran up on a guy just to stab him, you're toast.

 

I was playing last night, and I've been saying its too arcadey.. Well, I got some bonus, and the letters were all over my screen and I couldn't see the other guy I was going for.

 

This one is good graphically, but I prefer WaW.

 

-ricochet is a nice touch on hardcore

-Claymores are more realistic than the bouncing bettys

-Too many sniper fagg0t spots

-the invite to game is bad, was much better the other way

-too many perks

-203s and Thumpers are ridiculous

-need more maps

-the helicopters are fun, but I hate it when someone gets you, then you just get killed without moving for a while, at least the dogs you didn't have to change your class to fight them off

-the tactical nuke is stupid

i just went 23 and 1 with a streak of 22 on FFA. (the board with all the stones)

 

I was at 22 - 0 and I died

 

 

I hit level 47 and picked pavelow for a streak, I am still hampered by my streak choices early on.

 

Right now I have the missle you control, chopper support and pavelow.

 

I need my next killstreak choice. I would have had a nuke or 2 if I had better choices.
