Don't put so much emphasis on ranking up IMO. Pick a gun you like and get really fuckin good at it.

 

Slow down, crank up your situational awareness. Look at your map in Hardcore often.

Kill and move. Learn to use your killstreaks to improve your ability to stay alive.

I keep trying to tell Sux and some of the others that Hardcore TDM is the way to go.

 

FAL silenced, Ninja Pro, Thermal Scope.

 

one-shot one-kills, all day long.

Accuracy goes sky high. The trick is to snipe one or maybe two guys from a single location, and then move.

 

For world at war ALL i played was hardcore team deathmatch. Nothing was better. The STG was worthless in any mode because of how weak it was but in hardcore, the gun dominated. There was camping but it wasn't terrible. There two levels i camped but in general the gameplay had a tolerable level of campers.

 

This game is a whole new ball game. You CAN NOT run and gun even the slightest. You have to slowly walk, or even crouch walk the WHOLE time. If you tried to get from one side of the map to the other, it'd take you 5 minutes. Wasteland is absolute nightmare. People hang out by the houses or the downed helicopter.

 

I haven't played hardcore in a few weeks and now that i know the maps better i might give it another go, but i doubt my opinion will change.

Before i found the aug-hbar i was around 1.01. I'm movin up a lil bit every day and usually my worse match of the day will be at worst 8-2-10 or something. I would rarely go below 1:1.

 

Yesterday however, i was getting dominated. I went 2-17 in one match. I had no idea what the hell was going on. I went from 1.11 down to 1.08. I was having horrible ratio's all day long.

Currently trying to do the challenge where you get the nuke using only knife kills. No other killstreaks, not even UAV.

Best I can do is 16. It's INSANELY fun though. Intense as fock.

 

Intervention w heartbeat sensor (helps me find people)

tactical insertion (put it down behind enemy lines and do work)

Your K / D ratio is obviously better, but that in itself doesn't mean he isn't better then you.

I'm just going on how many times I have played with / against him and you.

Honestly he is probably better at running around all gun ho and killing people I've never played with him, and I'm good at what I do which is surviving and getting my kill streaks. Can't argue with my k/d and my winning percentage.

Damn. Guess there's a reason that guy is a professional gamer. That's focking beastly.

 

 

I haven't even tried it on that map because it's so open. My best was on high rise. Stuck to the buildings and the underground passage. It's made me realize how much I rely on my harrier and chopper gunner to get the nuke. I go from 7 kills to about 22 or so without using my weapon. It's damn near impossible without them.

K/D cant be the be all end all. I'd take 20-12 over 10-5 any day. We should make some formula like john hollingers PER for basketball. We should incorporate K/D ratio, actual kills, actual deaths, winning percentage and perhaps to a minor degree accuracy.

I wish there was a stat for K/D difference. Two guys can be 2.00. I'll take the guy who is averaging +10 with a 20-10 average over the guy averaging +5 with a 10-5 average any day.

 

In that scenario i would probably take the guy who is 1.7 but is at 17-10 over the guy at 2.00 with 10-5.

i agree.

 

i have .94 k/d, with 14% accuracy and an 80% win percentage. i never layed COD online b4 and started with a paltry .4 k/d ratio.

 

i think my stats are ok, a middle of the packer. I wont hurt you death wise, but i wont single handedly win matches. sometimes I do kick ass though

I don't know what it is, but it seems like playing in the morning/afternoon I do just a ton better. A lot of good games today and back to 2-1 ratio for most of the matches, and called a pavelow in 3 games in a row. At night though I'm struggling along with a 1-1 ratio.

it's all about running around and melee attacks.

 

full sprint, super speed, with enhanced melee and a lightweight weapon = win.

 

there's something about stabbing someone that is so much better than capping. up close and personal.

i got a taste of this yesterday. add the akimbo weapons too. they ruin the spirit and the fun of the game.

its frustrating too, i shoot them 3 times and they live but a knife slice and iam a goner. of course when I see how effective it is and I try it, the 3 shots they pump into me kills me.

I don't quite get how the whole invite thing works. I sent out a couple the other night and I think dave played and went 0 for 5 I think I went 7 and 3

Derail is the only one I snipe in, but usually not very good something like 6-1-2 or something

 

Play the same on Invasion, Favele, Karachi, Quarry, Rundown, Terminal, Underpass and Sub Base

 

Different strategy on Wasteland, Scrapyard, Rust, Highrise

 

Afghan and Estate I suck at, and nothing I do works. I especially hate Estate, maybe next time I will try to go undercover and try stabbing people.
