Have been wondering the same things.

 

Have to bench one of Jamaal Charles, Ryan Mathews, Jahvid Best, Arian Foster. Leaning toward benching Best but I think all 4 of those guys have the potential to put up 30 points.

Sure, he's an unknown at this point. But the ingredients are all there for this kid to come out and set things on fire provided he stays healthy. We put too far too much emphasis on "proven commodities" for such a volatile spot.

certain players that are unproven i would definitely be more likely to start...like Matthews. I'm actually more concerned about the Det O in general then the talent of Best. I do think they will be improved (hence Best, CJ and Stafford on my team). Forte to me seems like a sure thing to have a big day though. Det D I am confident is still pretty bad and Forte has killed them in the past

I'm benching him for Mendenhall & Forte. Same reason. I like what I'm hearing about him. The Lions coaching staff is talking him up. But I'd like to "watch him from the sidelines" before I pull the trigger.
