my trade of Best, Ryan & Andre Johnson for Peyton, V Jax & Beanie is looking good so far. Would have been a steal if V Jax got traded and I honestly think the value from Best to Beanie isnt too much different. 6 pts passing TD so Peyton is obviously a beast in that format.

 

I dunno, he really wanted Best over Pierre and Forte......and Best was the one I would prefer to trade away out of those 3 even before this weeks injury

In a Dynasty League, about 2 weeks prior to the season, I traded J. Best and K. Kolb for Arian Foster and Dem. Thomas. The other party was thinking Kolb would be the next Peyton Manning and Best was coming off a great preseason. I drafted Ben Tate at the end of round one of the rookie draft, so trying to get Foster seemed like a wise idea. It has worked very well so far. I think Dem. Thomas will be a future #1 in Denver's offense and I'm doing well with Foster. The person I traded with believes Best is Barry Sanders and OJ Simpson all rolled into one. Does that make him a fast guy that can run around you, over you, or slice right through you?

I'm impressed with how you subtly keep this thread on the 1st page all the time. You've somehow escaped the Little Help Board flack you deserved.

 

The trade made sense for your team. Your QB situation sucked balls and you escaped real damage there by trading Best for Rivers. You got lucky there. Your leaguemates could have let you twist in the wind with D Anderson, but someone gave you an out.

 

That said, this could turn again. Rivers going to Oakland and Best at home on the turf against the Rams could blow up once again.
