Drop Austin Collie? or is there hope

Are you that disgusted with Kerry Collins and the Colts new norm of 2 receiver sets using Wayne and Garcon, that you drop Austin Collie? Or do you think Collie ultimately replaces Garcon and gets back to the PPR Tyrant we all know he can be?

I'm || close to dropping Collie. I could look past the goose egg but the larger problem was the game plan of mostly going 2 wide with Wayne and Garcon. The only thing stopping me is a combination of poor waiver position and no compelling breakout WRs that I can see (let alone get). At this point I'll give him another week or two on the pine.

Absolutely pick up Nelson, a no-brainer. Though I'd try to hold Collie at least for now. But even if I had to bite that bullet, I would.

outside of wayne, no one on the colts is startable. Including clark. Will they get their here and there, sure thing. I'm sure collins will sling it for 300 every 1/3 game or so, though 300 seems to be a number one won't be blinking an eye at much this season it seems. Regardless, you have to think to yourself, even in a bind, can you start collie?!?!?? The answer is hell no. Probably 5 options better than nelson out there that I'd rather have. Do yourself a favor and rid yourself of him. It will save you the heartburn of him having a 135 and 2 td game on your bench, followed by 3-25 the week after when you decide to play musical chairs...

Tried pawning Collie off for the Cowboys D/ST.....and was declined.

 

 

Yet I can't drop him either....gonna give him one more week to do something...anything before I drop the dude.

Based on the line play, I doubt collins will ever have time to make it to Collie on the read progression.

Yea its the curse of the insanely good, all world qb. He makes regular guys look like stars. Collie is def droppable if for no other reason because without manning he has zero upside. Sure he could have some great games but the exact same can be said about any 3rd wr on any team.

 

I say the same to my friend who is a die hard M williams (sea) fan. He just cant get it that with a new top wr and totally dif qb, mike just doesnt have the upside he flashed last year in a few games.

No hope whatsoever. Face it - hes one of those short, white WRs that exist to steal TDs and fantasy points from their rightful owners(Wayne, Clark). Im glad hes done and dont really care if he ever catches another pass. I hate guys like him - they ruin someones fantasy season by hawking points from studs and then promptly disappear shortly thereafter. Just awful.
