GettnHuge 1 Posted October 14, 2011 Ok so anyway, brest cancer awareness...awesome. Wearing pink for a weekend in support...that's nice I guess. Wearing pink for an entire month? Come on. Refs with pink wristbands and whistles? STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT. And why just brest cancer by the way? Why not have NFL against heart disease for a month too? How about the league have patches with a martini glass with a line through it for the NFL drunk driving awareness month? Or better yet, why don't they have brown coloured gear for prostate cancer awareness month? /rant
WhiteWonder 2,202 Posted October 14, 2011 i guess because the NFL has no women so they can't alienate any of their players by supporting breast cancer. Heart Disease? you know those fat linemen will have it in the future Drunk Driving? 90% of the players do that nightly Prostate Cancer? no guys wants to think about that! Sho Nuff 720 Posted October 14, 2011 They do breast cancer to appeal to the woman fan base. They know they already have have the men on board. And no man wants too much prostrate awareness. Hey thanks NFL for reminding me I need my docs finger up my ass.
kutulu 1,558 Posted October 14, 2011 It's all pink on the inside.
parrot 789 Posted October 14, 2011 I'm plenty focking aware of breast cancer at this point, thanks.
GobbleDog 822 Posted October 14, 2011 They do breast cancer to appeal to the woman fan base. Kinda cheesy using breast cancer awareness to market a product. Regadless I agree with this thread - enough with the pink. Chicks know they have cancerous tities.

shovelheadt 62 Posted October 15, 2011 What pissed me off was the tribute to Hispanic month, when the ref called the penalty in Spanish. I was looking at my remote like I accidently turned on Spanish mode.

smashmouths@blf 33 Posted October 16, 2011 He's not kidding. I saw it to. Do breast cancer awareness for ONE weekend...that's enough. This October we actually have 5 Sundays to watch the pinkies.
eaglesinmylifetime 0 Posted October 16, 2011 He's not kidding. I saw it to. Do breast cancer awareness for ONE weekend...that's enough. This October we actually have 5 Sundays to watch the pinkies. Every team gets a home game in pink so it can be the focus at the stadium. Frankly, I think it looks stupid.
shovelheadt 62 Posted October 16, 2011 Tell me your kidding. Not kidding. Tell me your kidding. Nope. Bengals/Jags game. Announcers even commented on how the entire stadium went silent as everyone tried to figure out if they were having a stroke or something.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted October 16, 2011 Why does breast cancer get 5 times the funding and publicity of any other cancer... even when others are far more deadly? And I wish the NFL would leave the focking uniforms alone already. No more ugly retro bullsh!t like the Packers have today, no more pink sh!t, fock all of it. Cdub100 3,431 Posted October 16, 2011 Also it's ###### stupid. Do one game and be done with it. That being said I don't see anyone wearing pink at the Lions Niners game
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted October 16, 2011 I'm pretty sure you know the answer. I think the NFL should do "Nut Cancer" or Prostate Cancer month or something, since its 95% men who put money in their focking pocket. Or how bout we just do "Cancer in general" month for focks sake.
