Te'o is ridiculously embarrassed and without thinking it through, Tui and Te'o decide to kill off the girlfriend. Maybe in an effort to save face with his friends. Then he is stuck. The story spreads, and then he just goes with it to avoid humiliation. Then being a psychopath, he starts convincing himself its true, in the way that psychopaths find a way to do. Actually, this seems ridiculously unlikely. The guy is simply a phony and insane. Was a top 15 pick, and now I can't imagine him going before the 3rd round. Right? Great story though. As a Notre Dame hater, I am loving this. Is there any way the NCAA can make them vacate their wins? Surely there is a rule against being so phony. Fraudulant team spirit and motivation! The guy went on to invite people suffering from lukemia to the title game, talking about how he "feels their pain." That is pretty focking sick. If you wanna get rid of an emberassing girlfriend that was a hoax, you say you broke up, you don't make up a fake focking funeral, complete with flower arrangements and ongoing twitter memorials.
