Sho Nuff 720 Posted February 1, 2014 Never said I was objective. Never argued against it. That's your hang up baldy. I have no hang up calling you a completely blind biased homer....glad you admit it too. Maybe now you see the irony in trying to put that 34 behind anyone's name other than your own. The point is...you are also defending what philly put out there simply because it was a Hawks fan.
phillybear 366 Posted February 1, 2014 As for your analysis...plenty of statistics point to Denver as well. Should be a great game. But there are zero statistics that come to the conclusion of this easy Seattle blowout...so if you don't want people to mock your homeristic post...don't be so obviously homeristic about it. Well, certainly my most humble apologies for bringing math, science, data, statistics, and analysis into my reasoning into predicting a winner in Sunday's big game. I probably should have allowed you to have the floor to present your argument for the prettiest uniforms. Um, you do have a presentation, don't do? I mean, you can take a shot at somebody's research with your research, but you seem to have come here empty handed. Don't worry. We don't judge. Oh, wait. People like you push us to judge. Whoops. My bad.

As I said, there are statistics out there that point to it being a good close game. I would present them...but there is no point, you wouldn't accept them anyway because you already insulted those on TV who are picking Denver. Even what you posted does not come to any conclusion of a blowout except to the complete biased homer. So you stick to thinking my thoughts have anything to do with uniforms...just as you whine at any analyst who picked Denver.
MDC 7,435 Posted February 2, 2014 I think the game is a coin flip but if I absolutely had to pick a team I'd go Denver. I think Seattle is going to have to score 27-28 at least to win and I just don't have that kind of faith in their offense. The x-factor to me is if Peyton gets pressured hard and turns the ball over. If the Hawks don't win the turnover battle I just don't see then winning, they don't have a dynamic enough offense to play catchup. I'd say Broncos 27 Seahawks 20 but I wouldn't want to lay money on it.

Similar game to Pitt/GB where GB got the late FG...just think Manning finds a way to get this one done.

uwmalcolm 74 Posted February 2, 2014 Great analysis? It is the same over the top homer stuff we see from Philly and Hawker all the time. Just nothing but gleeming about his own team and acting as if Denver has no shot at it. As for Harvin...why would the media focus on a guy who has barely played in the last 2 years. Sure...he could be a huge factor. Or he could get hit once and be out again in the 1st quarter. He simply is not as big of a story line as so many other things in that game. I admitted that it was homer based and that he was speaking to similar minded folks. Maybe I shouldn't have used the term "analysis". But you are sad trolls, and you can chirp all you want. You know you have no skin in this game and it's a little bit pathetic that you are commenting as much as you are. I rarely post here and every person who is "living" in this post by antagonizing a certain Hawks fan is generally a pretty much a good contributing poster on a plethora of fantasy football measures. Sho Nuff, Murf, jgcrawfish...is it worth it what you're doing? Maybe it is. But I do like hearing these hawk fans discuss things and I hope things turn upwards for your teams so you don't have to live in this thread for your kicks. murf74 461 Posted February 2, 2014 Your response was to psychoanalyze me? Holy Toledo. Go Hawks!! But really why does it bother you so much when an analyst picks Denver? What does it matter ? Most guys I have heard on radio are picking Seattle. I stay away from 4 letter most of time. But again he was right you come across as that really getting under your skin. Kinda weird how freaked out you got I mean you homers have to have some tiny part of you that doesn't already think you are winners right? If not you guys will be on suicide watch if you lose. I mean you lost to Arizona at home doesn't that teach you any given sunday? Didn't the Rams nearly pull one out with Clemmens at qb?

It's mocking for satire sake. Most pundits were blindly picking San Fran to beat Seattle also. It's good. It gives one an underdog mentality.

murf74 461 Posted February 2, 2014 People need to consider how exactly does one go about being negative about a team that has gone 15-3 and is suiting up to play in the Super Bowl? You go about it by not ignoring what lead to the 3 losses and had you squeak out another vs kellen clemmons and I game most likely lost if Stacy wasn't hurt at first and goal You guys act like you are undefeated. Not even close Oh BTW Broncos have the same record but didn't stop you from finding negatives with them LOL you just summed up how blindly you are look on at this game. You seriously have this game already won in your head. You see no way another team with 3 losses all vs playoff teams can beat you. I find that stunning Seattle has one of the best defenses in NFL history. In a league where every rule change is geared to protect offensive players and seemingly to produce higher scoring games. I analyze data as my profession, so if I sound enthusiastic to Seattle being the better overall team, it's driven not by blind homerism but by taking an honest look at the numbers. I don't bet on the Seahawks every week with my cash, but I pick and choose my spots. Did I place a bet on them last week? Yes. It worked out. I took them again today (+3). I never bet with my heart, because you would go broke doing that. You have to bet with numbers. If this game were to be played 10 times, I'd say that Seattle would win the game 9 times. Because more than anything in football that is outside of variance, defense and running the ball dictates the outcomes. Seattle is better at running the ball and at defense than Denver. It's undeniable. And the strength of the opponents the past two months prepared Seattle for this moment, not so much for Denver. I don't have a doubt that Seattle will win this game, no butterflies in my stomach at all, it's going to happen. I'm not saying Denver isn't a good team, because they are. A very good team. But I think Seattle is better. And when did it become trendy to back Peyton Manning in big playoff situations? Holy Toledo.
