Favorite 70's AM Radio cheesy single

This isn't really about 'genre', as I have no idea how these tunes would be classified. I just remember them as 'cheesy'.

And, since it's Friday, and Fridays are all about a carefree attitude, I thought this would be the perfect day to make this poll.

 

So, which of these ten choices is your favorite? If you don't recognize a song by the title, Youtube it. Unless you're only in your 20's, I'm pretty sure you've heard these all.

I have that in my 80's folder. I just looked it up, it was actually the last #1 song of the 70's. So you're right. That's good trivia, though.

Thought "Afternoon Delight" before I opened it, but decided to vote for Lonely Boy. I don't think of it as cheesy per se (I know Newbie, it is kinda a catch-all group of songs) but I really like it.

 

I love a lot of Sweet songs but not that one.

As a little kid I used to love to go to my Aunt's house. I had five cousins there. All were older and there was usually a lot going on. I always asked to stay over.

 

One of my older cousin's would always sing "Little Willy Won't Go Home." It drove me nuts but I remember liking the attention. I forgot all about that song.
