Tom Brady has left practice with an apparent knee injury w/ video

Recommended Posts

Imagine if brady played in a dome, probably be undefeated for his career.

If Tom Brady had played in the CFL, they would have anointed Emperor of Canada.

Mallet is terrible. Brady's shadow would put up 4,000 yards. No need for a back up QB.

Brady -

Regular season stats—97-30 as a starter, 225 TDs, 99 INTs, 63.3 completion percentage, 7.3 YPA and a 93.3 QB rating.

Post season stats—14-4 (3-1 in Super Bowls) as a starter, 28 TDs, 15 INTs, 4,108 yards and a 85.5 QB rating.

Manning -

Regular season stats : 115-45 as a starter, 314 TDs, 138 INTs, 66.0 com %, 7.7 YPA, 42,254 yds, 98.6 QB rating and 15 rushing TDs.

Post season stats : 9-8 (1-1 in Super Bowls) as a starter, 4,937 yds, 28 TDs, 19 INTs and a 88.1 QB rating.

Winning % is in Manning's favor as well, are you sure you are excluding the year that Cassell won handsomely with that supposedly lesser receiving corps?

Brady is so great that you have to lie about the facts to hide his greatness:

Brady 136-39 as a reg season starter .777 winning %

Manning 154-70 reg season starter .688 winning %

Brady in playoffs: 17-7

Manning in playoffs: 9-11

Brady 334 TD's 123 Int QB Rating 96.6 TD/Int ratio 2.71

Manning 436 TD's 209 Int's QB Rating 95.7 TD/Int ratio 2.08

Here is another look, since I cannot find my original link now that its a day later SIGH

I suppose it might come down to a simple measure of rings or stats for some. I look at a Colts team that is barely .500 without Manning, yet overachieved every year on his back, he carried that team every year, then I look at a Pats team that relies on the system, as demonstrated by Cassell's achievments in that system. I submit that Jamarcus Russell could achieve in that system, Brady is a very good QB because he was put into the proper system that allowed him to flourish, he does not carry that team.

Brady has a higher passer rating and has played with less talented wide receivers for most of his career. Manning has also played inside a dome most of his career while Brady has played outside in a northern city. Brady has a much higher winning percentage in the regular season and in the playoff than Manning has. Brady has taken the Patriots to 5 Super Bowls and has won 3. Manning has gone to 2 and has won 1. They both have the same TD completion percentage (TD's/pass attempt) but Brady has a lower Interception percentage.

The Colts were so bad when Manning was out because they had terrible awful Quarterbacks that season. Last year with the same Colt players Manning had, a rookie took them to them to the playoffs.

Manning? Really? Even after that playoff "performance" last year?

Bump. Seriously, how many chances did Manning have to win that game?

Your point was that manning's colts were bad because they had a pitiful backup for manning's lost season? and the Patriots failed to make the playoffs with a future Pro Bowl qb taking over for Brady?

Cassell would take a 2-14 chiefs team to the playoffs after joining them and ended up in the pro bowl.

Manning resembled Walter Jr. from Breaking Bad in that game.

He took the Chiefs to the playoffs in 2010 and went to the Pro Bowl after leaving New England.

Where is the guy who took over for Peyton Manning after he was injured?

Itsatip, he's not playing anymore.

It is funny, since nobody has mentioned Romo for like 2 days and you are the only one "keeping Romo in the conversation", and nobody compared his record with either Tommy Two Step or Manning.

What a moron you are.

You made comments about Romo in a conversation about great QBs...and you were pumping up Romo.

Pretty much makes you the biggest moron of them all.

OK Slo-N-Nuts, I'm about to humiliate you. I didn't bring Romo into the conversation, I didn't try to keep him in the conversation, nor did I try to build him up to look like Brady or Manning.

Drob brought up Romo and I made a joke about him playing with a broken lung. That was the only post I made about Romo. So once again you are wrong and come out looking like a moron by claiming 3 days after my one post that someone is trying to "keep Romo in this conversation".

What is funny is the morons Tiki and Worms are swinging from your d!ck on this.

Here are the pertinent posts, Slo-N-Nuts:

Sorry, best ever...warrior is.reserved for suck bums like the mcnairs, romos and mcbabbs of the league, in other words failures.

Romo played with a broken lung.

Timmy Boy was flopping around on the field yesterday cuz someone fell down beside him.

I usually don't like to pile on the mentally challenged, but in your case I will make an exception.

Prior to my one comment on Romo there was no "conversation about great QBs". It was a conversation about Brady going down. Manning had not been brought up, nor had any of the stats come out. That conversation started later when the Cheatriot drones had to cover for the fact Brady was damn near life-flighted off the field because someone fell down next to him.

All I did was make one crack about Romo being tough compared to Tommy Two Step.

So you were wrong about me making multiple comments about Romo.

You were wrong about me bringing Romo into a conversation about great QBs.

You were wrong about me pumping up Romo.

You were wrong about me trying to keep Romo in the conversation.

Other than that, you were spot on as usual, Slo-N-Nuts.

OK, I'm done. You are bloody enough.
