MedStudent 56 Posted August 16, 2013 Sorry, best ever...warrior is.reserved for suck bums like the mcnairs, romos and mcbabbs of the league, in other words failures. Yep, all players play hurt, it's the losers who use it as an excuse.
RLLD 4,282 Posted August 16, 2013 Yep, all players play hurt, it's the losers who use it as an excuse. And then you have the Brady-types, who pout and scream at the ref when touched at all....
Recliner Pilot 61 Posted August 16, 2013 They way he was flopping around on the ground I thought his leg felled off. Good to hear Tommy Tough didn't have an injury after all.

drobeski 3,061 Posted August 16, 2013 This thread is about Brady, not Manning.... That's just stupid.
RLLD 4,282 Posted August 16, 2013 That's just stupid. Perhaps, depending on the measure. One instance might be, which one would you rather have on your team, in that case Manning is the clear choice. There are regular season stats as well, Manning has the clear edge in that category. Post season stats are also in Manning's favor. From Super Bowl wins you would say Brady, or which ever other QB was playing for the Pat's at that time.
drobeski 3,061 Posted August 16, 2013 Haha...really playoff stats ? Like the important stat ..ya know, winning percentage ? The couple of seasons brady had a manning like recieving corps he demolished every record in the book You're miserably uninformed
RLLD 4,282 Posted August 16, 2013 Brady - Regular season stats—97-30 as a starter, 225 TDs, 99 INTs, 63.3 completion percentage, 7.3 YPA and a 93.3 QB rating. Post season stats—14-4 (3-1 in Super Bowls) as a starter, 28 TDs, 15 INTs, 4,108 yards and a 85.5 QB rating. Manning - Regular season stats : 115-45 as a starter, 314 TDs, 138 INTs, 66.0 com %, 7.7 YPA, 42,254 yds, 98.6 QB rating and 15 rushing TDs. Post season stats : 9-8 (1-1 in Super Bowls) as a starter, 4,937 yds, 28 TDs, 19 INTs and a 88.1 QB rating. Winning % is in Manning's favor as well, are you sure you are excluding the year that Cassell won handsomely with that supposedly lesser receiving corps?
drobeski 3,061 Posted August 16, 2013 Did i mention manning for most of his career played in a climate controlled pansy ass dome for more than half his games ?
Recliner Pilot 61 Posted August 16, 2013 Winning % is in Manning's favor as well, are you sure you are excluding the year that Cassell won handsomely with that supposedly lesser receiving corps? Cassell has been All World since then.
NewbieJr 541 Posted August 16, 2013 Haha...really playoff stats ? Like the important stat ..ya know, winning percentage ? The couple of seasons brady had a manning like recieving corps he demolished every record in the book You're miserably uninformed Take away all the playoff wins when they were cheating and Brady is a below .500 playoff QB. Other than Romo, he's the least clutch playoff QB over the last five years.
RLLD 4,282 Posted August 16, 2013 Cassell has been All World since then. Clearly it could not possibly have been the system they use in NE, had that been the case Cassell would have gone on to the next team and sucked...oh wait, never mind....
Sho Nuff 720 Posted August 16, 2013 Good lord...a topic that Id even side with Drobeski...and hilarious that anyone would try to keep Romo in the conversation...oh, he played with a messed up lung. Well...not like he uses them anyway since he is always focking choking.

drobeski 3,061 Posted August 16, 2013 Its the same cute envy you see on this bored for tiger. Dumbasses, we don't get many greatest of our generation players to enjoy in sports. Appreciate them instead of envying them. Manning is right there ....as one of the greatest of our generation. Enjoy it kids, i know i do
parrot 790 Posted August 16, 2013 Clearly it could not possibly have been the system they use in NE, had that been the case Cassell would have gone on to the next team and sucked...oh wait, never mind.... Don't forget the part where Cassel played one of the easiest schedules in the league whereas Brady played one of the toughest in the league the prior year. Or the fact that the Cassel lost 5 more games than Brady did the year before. Normally a team dropping five more games, or roughly on third of the entire schedule - while playing a MUCH easier schedule - would be proof that the backup was not close to the starter, but somehow, in New England's case, people try to say the opposite. It's dumb.
IGotWorms 4,063 Posted August 16, 2013 Manning? Really? Even after that playoff "performance" last year?
NewbieJr 541 Posted August 16, 2013 Its the same cute envy you see on this bored for tiger. This is actually one of the most accurate statements you've ever made here. Brady and Woods have a lot in common. Both used to be clutch and win the big ones. Both now are 'regular season' superstars and fold when it matters most. Kudos, Drobs. We're on the same page.
