Bobbyn2022 53 Posted October 8, 2013 10 team league where u start 2 RBs yes drop him. In a 10 league 3 starting RBs you don't. I play in a league where we start 3 and he's on my bench but he def worth keeping for bye week fill in and he could still turn his season around u need know its been 5 games he has 10 more to go. I'm 4-1 and I have spiller and Wilson.

Windstan 7 Posted October 9, 2013 Drafted wilson in both of my leagues. I've been very patient with him so far, but a little panic is starting to creep in. Sources tell the Daily News that David Wilson (neck) won't receive his second opinion until next week. Wilson is in a holding pattern until he gets further testing. He's just watching practice from the sideline and will not play in Thursday's game against the Bears. There's no word on why he has to wait another week to get another opinion, but it leaves owners with no choice but to just stash the disappointing second-year man on benches. Coach Tom Coughlin is calling Wilson "week to week," suggesting he's very questionable for Week 7. Source: New York Daily News Oct 9 - 8:58 AM The Giants have a bye in week 9. If this injury lingers a couple more weeks, I think Andre Brown has a good shot to take over as the lead dog when he's eligible in week 10, leaving Wilson as nothing but a change-of-pace guy. I'd try to trade him, but he's totally worthless. I'm honestly considering dropping him for Brown if he can't play next week.
crazywhorse 6 Posted October 9, 2013 Picked up Da'Rel. I think Wilson's injury is worse than the news suggests and possibly out until after the bye week. Just my opinion.
terpsez11 3 Posted October 9, 2013 I hate Coughlin -- not D Wilson -- he cannot field a healthy O-line and bitches him out when he gets mauled and stripped -- the whistle should have blown on both plays -- Cowboys can't tackle and haven't since -- so Coughlin acts like the fool he is instead of going with the best he has-- good thing he coaches for an Illuminati owned team

touchdowntwitaker 2 Posted October 9, 2013 Something is shady of it is so in clear still. If you are hurting at Rb and your league is smart with nothing out there, I would switch him out with Andre brown if he is on waivers
touchdowntwitaker 2 Posted October 9, 2013 They wouldn't wait till next week if it's something that would go away fast- in my opinion. These things never turn out positive. Brown should get 16 touches a game if he gets back. He got that when Bradshaw was out last year. Coughin does like him

RaiderHaters Revenge 3,671 Posted October 10, 2013 dropping him, by the time he is cleared to play, Brown will be back, what a waste of an RB2 this year, I wish Andre never got hurt, so I wouldnt have bought the hype on Wilson

Windstan 7 Posted October 10, 2013 I have such a hard time cutting my 3rd round pick after 5 weeks. That being said, I'm seriously thinking about dropping him for Andre Brown since he's still available in one of my leagues. Would you guys pull the trigger? WR Guru 31 Posted October 10, 2013 Is it too early to call Wilson the bust of the year? I believe his ADP rose as high as the early 2nd round after Andre Brown got hurt. I know it's tough to tag an injured guy as BotY, but I think his poor play and lack of production before the injury justifies it.
PATSSOX 22 Posted October 10, 2013 I traded for his sorry ass last week. In league i have Wilson both Scott and Jacobs still available and i picked up Scott just now and dropped Tavon Austin. It cost a $1 for every transaction and i did not really want to even spend a $1 on Scott or Jacobs but i guess one of them has to start. Giants RB Wilson has disc-related neck injury Citing an NFL source, the NY Daily News reports David Wilson has a disc-related neck injury and "will likely be out several weeks." Or at least that's the Giants' current understanding, pending the results of Wilson's Monday trip to neck specialist Dr. Robert Watkins. Said one source, "With treatment, this thing could settle down within a couple of weeks." The Giants have a Week 9 bye, so they only play three games over the next 30 days. The team's goal is to try to get the tingling and nerve reaction in Wilson's neck to "settle down." Brandon Jacobs and Da'Rel Scott will share the backfield in the meantime. Andre Brown is eligible to resume playing in football games in Week 10. It's shaping up as a star-crossed, lost season for Wilson and the G-Men. Spiller wants to fight him for that still, but yah Wilson was basically a zero out of my 2nd round pick, I coulda gone with Dez, Demaryius, Cobb, Julio, hell tons of other guys, but I bought the hype, he was a 4th rounder when Andre was healthy, how could he not be worth a late 2, to pair with Spiller good news is I finally can cut bait.
