shorepatrol 1,870 Posted January 10, 2014 Carolina just can't match up. Cam doesn't have the weapons to score enough to beat us. DEF is a toss up, both are unreal, but Carolina has much more to deal with .We are a different team with Crabtree back. Kap with Crabtree is going to be the difference. That combo gets the 9ers #
MDC 7,177 Posted January 10, 2014 I think the Niners beat Carolina this week but it gets tougher against New Orleans in the NFCCG.
idiotec 31 Posted January 10, 2014 We are in much better shape for this game. Crabs, Davis and Aldon back (Davis got injured early last time). Â I still expect low scoring but not like last time. 20-13 Niners.
Hawkfin 32 Posted January 10, 2014 I just hope both team beat each other up so badly it hurts, and the winner limps into our house for another physical game. Â I think the Steve Smith injury hurts. And Newton being new to the playoff's. But, if they let there Def win over Kaep and force mistakes, then it could go either way. Â I'll say 9er's win, but you won't be lucky enough to face the Saints at home. You come our way for a final matchup and where we rule! I have to root for Carolina though. Hate those 9ers/Coach even though I'd like to see a 3rd match.

murf74 461 Posted January 10, 2014 What position do you play? Left out? The use of "us" and "we" with 49er and Seahawks fans is astounding.
joeshushu 51 Posted January 11, 2014 I think the Caroliner defense is the difference. 20-13 Panthers.
R8RMick 242 Posted January 11, 2014 I see Carolina playing containment on Kaepernick and forcing him to play the traditional QB role. They can put strong pressure up the gaps with their front four alone. Â If the Frisco QB has to air it out from the pocket, the result will be a rock, paper, scissors on whether he coughs up a pick or a bad throw. The Pack couldn't develop this pressure but the Panthers sure as hell will bring it. Â I like how Frisco fans have conveniently forgotten that their guy came within inches of yipping that game away lol... Yep, keep that guy in the pocket and let him beat himself with turnovers and poor throws. Easier said than done though.

DrG 102 Posted January 14, 2014 They are nervous in Seattle Rightfully so
Hawkfin 32 Posted January 14, 2014 Who is nervous? Why would we be nervous? The Hawks surely aren't nervous and probably welcome this matchup. That's a load of crap! Â We are at home where we play lights out and S.F. doesn't play as good. V. Davis plays scared against us up here and zero's out. We usually shut down Gore at home and there Oline is not as dominate. Boldin gets shut down by Sherman and don't expect him to get bailed out on calls up here. Crabtree might be key, but it looked like he got re-hurt a bit. That might be nice for us. Kaep will make mistakes against our legion of boom. S.F. Intimidates a lot of teams and there ace players dominate weaker teams who can't stop them. Seattle takes them out! Â On the flip, we pressure the QB so much better at home. We stop the run better at home. The 12th man gets them fired up AND we hate the 49er's. We almost beat them at there house with a lot of ???? calls IMO. It will be a lot worse for S.F. up here. We usually OWN them here and I expect the same. Â I'm sure it will be closer maybe, but IF we actually open up the offense I wouldn't be shocked to see a double digit win and force big time mistakes. We surely aren't scared. It will be a deserved win and shut all the doubting mofo's up. Â Hawks 27 S.F. 13 Â Should be fun game. S.F. deserves credit for what they've done and like anybody has a shot. Saint Elistan 106 Posted January 14, 2014 You do realize that the last time the 49ers played at Seattle, it was still 5-0 midway through the 3rd Quarter? Â Total Yards: Seahawks (290), 49ers (207) Â Let's not act like that was a dominant performance. Â The 49ers aren't going to turn the ball over 5 times in the Conference Title game. Good luck!
idiotec 31 Posted January 14, 2014 Niners are in great shape to pull this off. I'm saying 20-16 Niners.
Hawkfin 32 Posted January 14, 2014 Well, there was a lot of rain. Similar to the N.O. game we just had. We were also up 19-3 early in the 4th and 29-3 final score. If you can't finish, it was dominance. I was also considering the year before when you guy's came up here. Â Normal bet would say it probably does end up a close game. But, I'm going the way of a higher scoring game with S.F. getting rattled in this one. After a def start. Similar effects to that last game. Â Enjoy the game
Saint Elistan 106 Posted January 14, 2014 I was also considering the year before when you guy's came up here. Â Oh, that game that absolutely didn't matter to the 49ers as they cruised into the playoffs?
R8RMick 242 Posted January 14, 2014 I can't even think about that first game up there without seeing that character Sherman dancing with the cheerleaders, just to rub Harbaugh's Brothers nose in the shite... EPIC. Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M_vy5COd4Q
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 14, 2014 Â Oh, that game that absolutely didn't matter to the 49ers as they cruised into the playoffs? Yea because Harbaugh doesn't mind being run out of the building by Pete Carroll. If that nonsense eases your mind this week, keep believing that. Now the real question: Can you Whiner fans break two pages with this thread (without Hawk fans boosting the post count)?
Pogs23 6 Posted January 14, 2014 Lol if breaking 2 pages on a fantasy football msg board mattered to me I would have to rethink my life. Unfortunately I once looked at that Seahawk thread and it might have been one of the saddest things I have seen on a msg board.
DrG 102 Posted January 14, 2014 I find it telling that Seattle lost two December games when they could have clinched early while SF has gone on a tear. I predict a SF upset win against an admittedly very good team  This whole credit card thing is dumb and probably illegal

Was it telling?

DrG 102 Posted January 15, 2014 Philly it was quite telling. Last year SF had an untested new qb and there was concern plays were being tipped. The ravens scouts were bragging about it. Jump to this year and I see a Seattle team that looks considerably more beatable and vulnerable than it did early in the season
