NewbieJr 541 Posted June 17, 2014 NO comment from the conservahacks on CNN mocking the administration. ROFL They hope that goes unnoticed so that they can use the liberal bias angle some more. That would be the day we saw Fox News have a three person panel mocking the lies during the Bush administration.

NewbieJr 541 Posted June 17, 2014 Bump for newbie My opinion is that there has to be a way to find those emails. With all of today's technology. I also think it's ridiculous that it took a year to inform congress that they were lost. Anything else I can do for you?

Bill E. 703 Posted June 17, 2014 Not quite...they sent quite a lot of emails too. At this point...could be big (depending on the number of emails missing). Could be minor or really nothing. Either way...some talking heads will go on about it and hacks will assume things without knowing anything. Hence the outrage in this thread. " They send a lot of e-mails? " That is ridiculous. In today's world no company should lose data/e-mails no matter how many are sent. the IRS should hold themselves to a much higher standard because they hold their clients/targets to a higher standard. Forget the scandal, someone should be fired for losing data period. I worked in IT at a fortune 500 company and a minor server crashed and the admin responsible for the server had not tested backups. We tried to restore the data and could not. All the logs said they had been backed up daily but the server side backup driver/module had been corrupted. He was gone for not testing backups and this was a minor server. Of course in the government it is pretty hard to lose your job.

And yes, I realize it's more than just RP, but he's one of the ones who brings nothing else to the bored but his bullsh!t. At least he USED to talk about his vacations or rototilling, etc., but this new incarnation is insufferable. We get that he HATES the current administration... but at this point, I wish he'd STFU for awhile, or drink a cyanide cocktail. Either one would be preferable to this nonsense. Googballz 39 Posted June 17, 2014 Seems that fluke computer crash of Lerner's also happened to 6 other key IRS figures in this thing. What a coincidence. It’s not just Lois Lerner’s e-mails. The Internal Revenue Service says it can’t produce e-mails from six more employees involved in the targeting of conservative groups, according to two Republicans investigating the scandal. The IRS recently informed Ways and Means chairman Dave Camp and subcommittee chairman Charles Boustany that computer crashes resulted in additional lost e-mails, including from Nikole Flax, the chief of staff to former IRS commissioner Steven Miller, who was fired in the wake of the targeting scandal. The revelation about Lerner’s e-mails rekindled the targeting scandal and today’s news has further inflamed Republicans. Camp and Boustany are now demanding a special prosecutor to investigate “every angle” of the events that led to Lois Lerner’s revelation in May 2013 that the agency had used inappropriate criteria to review the applications for tax exemption. The lawmakers expressed particular outrage that the agency has known since February that it would not be able to produce the e-mails requested by the committee yet did not apprise the committee of that fact, and they charged in a statement that the IRS is attempting to “cover up the fact that it convenient lost key documents in the investigation.” http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/380576/irs-has-lost-more-e-mails-eliana-johnson
