svtballa 8 Posted May 6, 2015 So in most "experts" rankings I see Mccoy over Hill and I just can't wrap my head around it? lets look at some basic info. Mccoy. -Much more miles on the legs. -Plays 2 outstanding D's twice in the Dolphins/Jets. Pats are soild as well. -Not a good starting Quaterback -Buffalo has some of the worst weather around -PRO- He catches more passes HIll. -Younger -Coming off a better season -Much easier division -Gio will not be as much a factor as people think -Better goal line back -CON- Catches less balls If I am at the end of round 1 or early second and had the choice I take HIll and dont even think twice. Thoughts?
weepaws 2,469 Posted May 6, 2015 Disagree about Bernard . I think he will be a factor like last season . McCoy is going to get the ball a lot . I like McCoy over Hill not by a lot .
petekrum 20 Posted May 6, 2015 Couldn't be more wrong about Gio. He will be a top 20 RB in ppr. Way yo explosive not to be utilized. If we were talking dynasty you would have an argument, but McCoy is the answer for this year.
Flgatorguy87 160 Posted May 6, 2015 People in my league are probably down on Gio and I have Hill as a keeper so my plan is to take Gio a round earlier than he's likely to go. He's more valuable to me because if either goes down I have the backfield on lock down. I used this strategy last year drafting Hill early after taking Gio in the 2nd. Together they were a good pair. shorepatrol 1,737 Posted May 11, 2015 McCoy because of volume. Fred Jackson disagrees
petekrum 20 Posted May 11, 2015 Fred Jackson disagrees Fred Jackson isn't gonna have a whole lot of say in the matter. He's not fighting of a CJ Spiller this season.
Squintz82 45 Posted June 4, 2015 Fred Jackson isn't gonna have a whole lot of say in the matter. He's not fighting of a CJ Spiller this season. Brown, Dixon? I can't trust McCoy with an early pick with that many RBs around him, in my opinion.

giraldi02 470 Posted June 5, 2015 Mccoy. Cj anderson over both of them Entirely new left side of that O-line, new center, different coaching staff, Manning one more year older, DeMaryius contract issue...Trust me...CJ Anderson is one of those guys that could disappoint in a LARGE way this season
stonewall 647 Posted June 5, 2015 Mccoy. Cj anderson over both of them Agreed. Glad CJ is being underrated this season. The kid is the real deal.
Criper 24 Posted June 5, 2015 I expect Rex to run McCoy into the ground. Bills RB coach has already stated he'd like to cut Jackson's touches in half this year, and the Bills don't make this kind of trade and add money to Shady's contract if they are not going to ride him hard. Rex has a ton of experience riding the run game while trying to win with a mediocre QB, so there is no reason not to think that Shady will push for the league leaders in carries, if he stays healthy. I am a huge Hill fan, but the fact is, Gio has a role in that offense that siphons touches from Hill. Bengals have a tough schedule this year, but Hill could wind up leading all RBs in rushing TDs. All things considered, going into the season I think Shady has to be ranked higher than Hill, simply on projected touches alone. Ironically, I was offered Shady for Hill in a trade a couple of weeks ago, and I declined (dynasty league), even though I could see Shady outperforming Hill, at least for this upcoming season. tanatastic 2,061 Posted June 6, 2015 There are 2 things certasin in this world. Death and Fred Jackson being the backup but then ending the season as the top rb.
Mr Neil 63 Posted June 8, 2015 I'm a Florida State fan and can tell you don't sleep on Karlos Williams either. They drafted him for a reason. If it ain't fjax it'll be Williams. Especially near the goal line. The kid is a beast
BobSanders_33 127 Posted June 8, 2015 There are 2 things certasin in this world. Death and Fred Jackson being the backup but then ending the season as the top rb. I like Fred Jackson but he is getting up there in age. I know early on the argument was that he had low mileage so age wasn't such a big factor. Now it is clear that the coaching staff would like to reduce and possibly faze Jackson out. I know it wasn't this staff but the trade was made for Bryce Brown and McCoy, plus they drafted Karlos Williams.
weepaws 2,469 Posted June 8, 2015 All you need to do is look at last seasons numbers . He is 34 this season and last season he finished with his worst avg per carry 3.7 and his fewest td total 3 since 2008 . But he did have his most targets in the passing game with 90 targets so it was his best season ever in the passing game .

Mike Nice 40 Posted June 11, 2015 Sophmore slump is a real thing. Hill is being over drafted imo in PPR. Mccoy will be the three down back and I could see him putting up similar numbers as 2013 when he was the true feature back, before sproles. Bernard WILL cut into Hills time, he is a dynamic pass catcher. Fjax is all done, it showed last year. Only reason he got the work was there was NO ONE else there. Either way it's your team, but I think Mccoy has a higher ceiling.
remote controller 133 Posted June 11, 2015 I like McCoy over Hill. I have Hill at 13 and McCoy at
