TD Ryan2 316 Posted September 21, 2015 I remember another time they started out 0-2. I'm guessing you know the one I refer to. It ended up being better than starting 18-0 see. that was excellent. very nicely played. you're getting better at this... hanging out in Pats threads so much will do that for you. How many times has a team gone 16 - 0 in the regular season? there's only one that's ever done that ed. a pretty miraculous and rare feat - so rare that on it's own would merit a presence in the football HOF - and then when you surround it with 4 SuperBowls, including the last back-to-back in the modern game? It's legendary really. the hole-in-one is to the SuperBowl as the Albatross is to the undefeated season. people who know the game know which one really is more impressive. Magnificent Bastard 192 Posted September 21, 2015 pathetic that he's up for HOF consideration. He's probably going to get in too. Caldwell rode Mannings coat tails to a SB appearance. Dungy didn't do much more, except he was fortunate enough to run in to the mighty Rex Grossman in his SB. And Lovie.

No big picks or fumbles, no missed field goals. Just some ass whoppin.
Djgb13 2,339 Posted September 22, 2015 We can sit here and talk about the past all we want. Yea patriots won last year. Year Giants won (years ago). This season is all that matters right now. I'm not gonna talk sh1t right now cause if you recall the Pats started out 2-4 last year before turning it on. So the 0-2 teams still have a chance. Still it is nice to be 2-0 especially after torching one of the best defenses in the NFL right now

Brady had a better game on the road against a much better defense, a defense many people were speculating might be the best in the league with the Chancellor hold out in Seattle. Imagine being at the tail end of your legendary QB and coach's career and realizing that all they've accomplished was through cheating? And that no one takes them seriously or gives a sh1t about their faux Lombardis? Has to be frustrating. Kind of like how Lance Armstrong feels, I imagine.
