Djgb13 2,339 Posted October 31, 2015 I am seeing more and more of this creep up in the news. Some states are allowing it to be passed while other states are saying no to it. For instance, in the Muslim religion Sharia Law prohibits them from paying interest on loans (kind of weird that they have that in their religion) so banks are giving them loans that don't have interest in it for homes. Others, such as in custody battles, would claim that women are inferior according to Sharia Law and the men would win that case. Haven't read up too much more but will do so later tomorrow. What you guys think about it?

Voltaire 5,317 Posted October 31, 2015 It's true. I went to the nearby Bank of America into get a home loan and they said the interest rate was 4.7%. Then I told them I was a Muslim and it's against my religion to pay interest and they decided they would just give the money to me for free then. Then my wife wanted to divorce me because I was having sex with all my other wives, beating her and the kids mercilessly. Well, just before l the judge was ready to grant her custody, I told him that since I'm Muslim, she and the kids are my property to do what I want. The judge agreed and gave me custody and told me I could keep beating and having sex with my ex-wife if I want. My lawyer and banker didn't tell me this stuff, fortunately I learned it online in the Geek Club from Djgb.

I'm sure they have special Muslim loans where instead of "interest" they charge "finance fees" or some other linguistic drivel.

vuduchile 1,945 Posted October 31, 2015 Really? Omg I did not know that. Then why did you say this? "Some states are allowing it to be passed while other states are saying no to it." And which Sharia laws are some states allowing to be passed? Is there an actual "Sharia law" on the books in a particular state you can refer to? Stick to fake doctoring, majoring and baseball playing. Current events isn't one of your strengths.

Djgb13 2,339 Posted October 31, 2015 Or you cut the lawn on the sabbath or whatever they call it. That's the death penalty for them. From what I was reading these Muslims were having their own "court cases" in cities like Irving. Their Sharia law says if the other laws like the US law go against their law then they will follow the Sharia law and ignore the other laws like US law. These include things like women having hardly any rights. A man can beat his wife legally according to them. Or they can rape a woman, the woman cannot testify against her accused raper, and in order to convict said raper 4 other men have to be there to witness the rape. fandandy 3,313 Posted October 31, 2015 Djdb Um...if your dad has children younger than you, that's your brother, not your nephew. Holy wow this is an epic level of unraveling going on here.I did look it up, it's public domain. I think he means his dad is 75, thus his dad's siblings are also quite old, thus their children could easily be old enough to be getting married.
